Jimmy Butler’s Draw Foul rating is ridiculously low

    Posted: 27 Sep 2020 08:23 PM PDT

It's a 60. Cmon that's absurd. This man got 9.1 FT attempts per game this season. Sure, that's a great stat line. But it becomes insane once you realize he only shot 13.1 FG attempts. Do the 2k devs even watch Jimmy play? Because this is one of the dumbest ratings I've seen yet

The 5 Goofiest Parts of the 2K21 MyCareer Story

    Posted: 27 Sep 2020 10:03 AM PDT

Honestly, I enjoyed this story. I enjoy the story every year because it's pretty well acted, kind of charming, and better written than a lot of game stories, tbh.

But this year's story is also pretty awkward, even for 2K. Here's my ranking for the goofiest stuff in it.

    1. The Weirdest Dad Yet. How did this fussy gnome give birth to my giant manchild? He's like an animated sidekick from a Disney movie, not my old head dad supposedly toughening me up.

    2. My Extremely Tetosterone-Fueled Teen Self. I guess Junior matured real fast. Because the flashbacks are meant to be like 3 years ago, so that means my bald, bearded, hulking player is about...15 years old? Cringe.

    3. The Thousands of Ghosts Who Root for [Insert Team Here]. I appreciate that there are no living people inside Barclay's when you get drafted - safety first. But who are the hordes of people cheering when you and Hendrix get drafted? I guess so many people have passed from covid that the NBA can now market primarily to the deceased. [Too soon?]

    4. The Mutant Clone Centers Invading NCAA Hoops. If you're a mad scientist, I have to believe there are better ways to make money than cranking out college centers with slow feet, segmented eyes, and skin like spoiled meat. None of them look identical, but it's close enough that they clearly came from the same facility where the nuclear reactor melted down. I hate driving into the paint during college because it means I have to get breathed on by one of the Toxic Avengers. Please do not melt my face, I scanned it myself.

    5. My Predator MILF Girlfriend. Ellie is is cute and seems nice. I dig her hair and her cat-eye eyeliner. 10/10 would swipe right. But my character is 18 years old, and I'm sorry, there's no way Ellie is a day under 32. Why is she preying on someone who could be her stepchild? [Don't answer that.] I feel bad that the Canadian soccer team so hard up for talent that they're recruiting actual soccer moms. I also feel bad that Junior has no idea that Ellie obviously hooked up with Hendrix offscreen, who then ghosted her. It's the only reason her last ever words to her lovestruck [cradle-robbed, presumably cuckolded] boyfriend would be about taking Cobb down a peg.

Unranked: Coaches being mad about a dunk on a fastbreak, how answering questions like a normal human being with basic empathy sends your draft stock through the roof, whether Zion Williamson is an alien pretending to be human, the Republican-only suit choices before the draft, where the fuck your mom is.

Two huge lies we were told about NBA 2K21

    Posted: 27 Sep 2020 04:13 PM PDT

    1. "Greening is much more difficult" This is complete bull. Play shots green left and right. I'm a slasher and I green pretty easily as well.

    2. "Excessive dribble moves before shooting penalizes the shooter now" No it doesn't.. not even a bit.

The game is broken. Good D isn't rewarded, and obnoxious offense is. The game felt OKAY at launch IMO, with shots not seeming to fall like 90% of the time. But after the first patch, this is LITERALLY 2K20 with an added shooting method.

Does anyone know what attributes represent?

    Posted: 28 Sep 2020 12:59 AM PDT

What do 2K attributes actually represent and measure? For example, would taking a perfectly timed, uncontested, 3-point shot with a 90 3-point rating imply that you have a 90% chance of shooting a green or perhaps making the shot? What does the number 90 actually indicate about your player's ability? Obviously a 90 rating is better or worse comparable to any other value, but what does it actually indicate about a player's ability? I'm so curious. Thank you for your responses!

For the spot ups, I HIGHLY recommend this badge set up. I’m shooting pretty well everywhere with these badges on. You can switch deadeye for clutch shooter or volume shooter.

I watched a htb vid this morning talking about nodded controllers and I thought I would never see someone using one and he was just greening 40% shots lmao and it also never moved depending on how fast u go also so its just more proof he was using one
