Passing Is Cool... You Should Try It! Posted: 15 Jan 2021 06:20 PM PST Me personally I love passing in 2k I think defense and passing are so much fun, but for some reason that isn't the general population of 2k. Every time I jump into the mypark I'm always cursed to play with people who never pass the ball or even make an attempt at it. Like I get you may have had bum randoms in the past, but that doesn't excuse you from making the right play in the future. Even if I lose a game making the right plays then it's whatever, but If I lose simply because you didn't want to pass then that's aggravating. Hopefully, some ball hog out there reads this and thinks to themselves 'Maybe I should pass" even I can get even one person to do that then I'll be happy. So please pass the ball not everyone is trash and every team who streaks passes the ball. [link] [comments]

Posted: 15 Jan 2021 01:22 PM PST How is it possible for someone to shoot perfectly from 3 just running around shooting kawhi Leonard shots all day. Like not even shooting 3/9 like shooting 8/9. I understand you might be open but that shouldn't result in perfect consistent greens. This one problem pretty much sums up the brokenness of this game because everything is just nonsense at this point. [link] [comments]

Why solo players ask for matchmaking, at least in the rec Posted: 15 Jan 2021 04:56 PM PST I just played a team that had team takeover off of their first made 3 because of special delivery. They proceeded to have team takeover for almost every second of the game, I'm not exaggerating. Every possession was a flashy pass from the elite 2 center for an open 3 against bots. I was playing with 3 bots and a random. They wouldn't play defense either. 2 out of 5 would play defense the other 3 just waited for the outlet flashy pass. This is incredibly frustrating and frankly insulting to the sport of basketball. Obviously, it's a squad farming rep and they probably don't see anything wrong with how they play, which is really what upsets me so much. I'll call out the YouTuber, RobCantShoot because he's a public figure. 2K isn't going to drastically change their game, I realize that. It's embedded in the culture of this game to win, no matter what. Instead of respecting the intricate team effort of elite level basketball, 2k makes a game where you don't have to play any defense and you can green endlessly on a braindead ai. It's just sad that in the grind for rep, a meaningless system meant to frustrate the average player and keep them playing and spending, these players don't care if they ruin the game for their opponents. I'm most upset that they don't even bother playing defense, and spend who knows how many hours ruining rec games for the thousands of randoms they queue against. [link] [comments]

Is there a reason people avoid low rep players that have good overall ratings? Posted: 15 Jan 2021 09:48 PM PST I just wanted to play park 2's but someone hopped off the spot when i hopped on. Is it bc my build wasnt good enough for them or was it other reasons? [link] [comments]
2K is actually bad and people should stop defending it. Posted: 15 Jan 2021 06:04 PM PST It's crazy that there are people who are actually defending 2K. When even the content creators who have been on the inside talk of how bad it is. The devs never listen to what the creators and community tell them is wrong, animations are terrible, and overall it is such a bad product for $70. Mike Wang needs to go and there needs to be testers for the damn game for months In early development so that they'll know what's wrong and what's good. [link] [comments]
If you are a small player and there is a big man on your team you do not belong in the paint! Posted: 15 Jan 2021 09:05 AM PST You interfere with the bigs ability to protect the paint like he should because he has to fight around your player to get position in the paint for the score/block/or rebound! Thanks, that is all! [link] [comments]
Posted: 16 Jan 2021 01:40 AM PST Finding it almost impossible to win games against the cpu in all these moments, can get a certain amount of points with a player but it's impossible to stop the cpu from scoring. I'll be defending well but it still will say it's not very contested from my side. And this is only on pro difficulty [link] [comments]
What build have you had the most fun playing on? (XB1) Posted: 15 Jan 2021 05:56 PM PST Looking for a new build, and I just don't know what to make. I've already got a PG Scoring Machine (Blue/Green), a Glass Cleaner (Pure Red) and a Glass Cleaning Finisher (Red/Blue), along with a 2 Way Finishing SF that doesn't get contacts (sub-85 Driving Dunk; original build). So I'm pretty versatile when it comes to changing positions. What builds have y'all had fun on, playing in the Rec and/or Park? It doesn't have to be meta (it can be, idk what is at this point lol), it doesn't have to have a heavy badge spread either, although that would help. Just looking for suggestions, something fun that's not a build I already have. On Xbox 1. [link] [comments]

Should a 6’7 slasher have minimum weight? Posted: 15 Jan 2021 07:18 PM PST I made a slasher at around 240 pounds, but there are quite a few recommendations that say that he will be faster but less stronger with minimum weight. Wouldn't more strength help you with defense and blowbys? Also, which physical pie chart is recommended for slashers? Thank you for reading and stay safe. [link] [comments]

Posted: 15 Jan 2021 06:57 PM PST You shoot 4 3 pointers to get your team back in the game, get takeover, just to miss 4 field goals in a row, get the ball taken off of you, and watch your opponent shoot on every fast break because they keeping calling switches. Oh, and once that takeover is over be fouled out, receiving a grade nod for a "good foul" and watching your team lose after spending 2 1/2 quarters coming back. Peeped after the game, and I was one 3 pointer away from record, but how I missed 2 FG's with Max badges and an 91 rating is beyond me. Oh, how I love 2K. [link] [comments]
(2k21 current gen) Jumpshot base for 6’9 big Posted: 16 Jan 2021 12:51 AM PST It's recently come to my attention that my stretch being 6'9 stops me from getting all the meta jump shot bases, like Dwayne wade and 98. That being said does anyone know a good jump shot for 6'9 plus shooting bigs? Specifically one that's good in park and the delays it sometimes has court to court. It's my first time playing a shooting big in 21 so I need all the help I can get, Thanks! [link] [comments] |
