    So I'm a huge 2k fan. When the game came out I bought the $100 edition, I have a 93 MyPlayer and I've almost collected 1750 cards in MyTeam. It was a lot of fun, sure it had a ton of problems that pissed me and just about everyone else off but it was all we had because no other games were coming out for another month. The only other game I had interest in playing was Borderlands 3, but I couldn't grind that for hours at a time like I could 2k, so I played the shit out of it.

    Fast forward to today. Modern Warfare is out, Outer Worlds just got released, Nintendo is coming out with a few titles in the next couple of weeks, and I've honestly tried to sit down and play 2k for a couple of hours and I just can't. I hop on, do my daily spin and get my daily reward in MyTeam, look around in the game modes, and then decide I don't want to waste my time playing a MyCareer game or playing a domination or even a TTO game, and it's because 2k has ruined the experience for me.

    Now I'm not saying "everyone boycott 2k" because don't get me wrong, it can be fun. But after playing games like Borderlands 3 and Modern Warfare, I realized how crappy 2k20 really is. It lived up to a lot of the hype, the MyPlayer system is cool and MyTeam is pretty fun, but the amount of server issues, freezing, glitches, and just overall frustration really showed after I started playing these other new games because they had issues to, but it wasn't like 2k. Borderlands had a ton of frame rate issues that sometimes made it unplayable, but they kept people updated and have been fixing it constantly. Modern Warfare's servers were down for a good hour when the game dropped and still freezes the consoles sometimes but guess what? A month from now, I guarantee all those problems will be fixed. 2k is still having problems that have been there since launch. and it's just ridiculous.

    The way I see it, is those games have problems that can ruin a time that I get on, but 2k has ruined my entire experience with the game. I don't want to play Unlimited or Play Now Online because I'm afraid if I call a timeout I'll just lag out or receive a loss. I don't want to sit and grind MyCareer or TTO for 6 hours because I could just hop on Modern Warfare and have 10x as much fun with 1/8 of the issues that 2k has a month post-launch.

    I just hope at some point we'll be somewhere that we can play 2k without having to worry about the game freezing or getting kicked or lagging out for no reason, so that way we can sit down for a few hours and just have some fun. I miss playing 2k all day, but now it just feels like a game of hoping that everything works fine, so you can play for a bit without having to reset your game because your stuck at the Rec Center loading screen. That's all.

    Let me know what you guys think? Why you agree or disagree, because I want to know if there are other people in the community that also feel this way.

    The answer to shooting in 2k20 is NOT "learn yo shot", let me explain...

    2k20 after 7 (about to be 8 patches) has altered shooting in so many ways I think we have all lost count. Day 1 shooting vs now is NOT the same. When they decided the green window was incorrect and stopped rewarding high IQ open shots, simply learning your jump shot became not enough. Let me give a example of a good IQ play in any form of basketball. Player A is setting a play at the top of the arc, Player B is positioning him or herself in the corner with their feet set ready to receive a kick out for what we hope is a wide open shot. Execute said play, player A draws in the defender from player B, player B shoots a wide open "good" shot with a well timed jump shot and bricks it, and even in some cases (albeit it rare) air balls, yes, many have recorded and seen wide open slightly late or early air balls. All this being said, this can happen up to 5 to 10 times a game, and this simply is not rewarding good basketball. Meanwhile we have several thousand guards zig zagging behind either a cheesey black hole screen or literally just running around the arc throwing up "terrible" shots some even by 2k's measurement can be contested 38%+ and make them 5 to 10 times a game, sometimes more than that. Even if Learn your shot was the answer to making jump shots consistently, right now 2k20 simply does not seem to be rewarding good IQ basketball more than it is for bad IQ basketball.

    TLDR; 2k20 shooting is to inconsistent with mechanics out of the players control for learning your shot to be the answer to making more jumpers.

    Edit for clarifications; This post seems to be sending the wrong message. I am not really talking about timing here, but arguing that "knowing your shot" is a bad answer to a system we have that right now, that seems to be rewarding more bad shots vs good shots. Lets start with "know good basketball" before "know your shot".

    I guess defense was so OP last year they removed it this year? 99 speed 99 acceleration 7 hof shooting and playmaking badges vs intimidator.

    I've come from Fifa but the gameplay is shite, so could someone give tips to an English guy who doesn't know much about basketball, I know rules and some top tier players but what tips for basketball and nba ultimate team do you have?

    Also is there something like "fut champs" in Fifa so like a weekend league where it's competitive and you play or rewards?

    Gotta be the most infuriating thing. Oh you're 10 points ahead? Let me just put you on the bench for 3 minutes, now you're 15 points behind. Wow you brought it back? Let's do that same shit again. Final 2 minutes of the game and you're ahead? Get on the bench and watch your team foul 3 times while the opponent sinks every free throw. Unlucky you lose!

    The passing is so bad I swear they animated the passes in a wide open mycourt. The game almost never accounts for other players nearby
