    So i'm writing this because it seems to be a big problem this year and as a black man whose voice is not your stereotypical black man's voice I take my fair share of shit for having a black myplayer. Now i do try to explain that I am in fact black and that them saying shit is in fact super racist it doesn't seem to matter as they will just move too calling me a liar or a uncle tom.

    THis goes on the other side as well as i have seen people have to quit games in the rec because of the amount of shit they are getting for simply being white.

    It just not ok, I would love to ask at least the people in this community to try and be better and more tolerant, I don't think this will help but I have to get it out as its kinda ruining something that is supposed to be fun.

    The 2K community is ridiculous. At least from most of my experiences. Just got done playing with some people and all they did was yell at each other and point fingers. No PnR just running around and blaming one another for their faults. It is a terrible experience. To make things worse, once I spoke up they realized I was white and that's where the racism began lol. Telling me "im racist against fa***ts and white people". LOL god forbid that I, a white male, say anything racist... if the tables were turned this would be an outrage. Ridiculous. Also, if you're player rating is D you're probably doing something wrong...

    TL;DR: Cavs blew a 3-1 lead to Golden State

    Not a bad season for me. Drafted Drummond and he made the defensive TOTY but we were eliminated in the Divisional finals by Curry and the #8 seeded Heat. They went on to lost to Paul George and the #7 seeded Cavs. Bit weird that the #7 and #8 seeds got to the Conference finals, but whatever. I look at the Western Conference and see that James Harden's Warriors made the finals.

    Yawn yawn, another Cavs-Warriors finals. What are the odds.

    The Cavs dominate Game 1 and take Game 2 by a single point, with Valanciunas getting a double-double in both games. GS doesn't give up and takes Game 3 by a score of 120-116. It looks to be all over as the Cavs win Game 4 to jump out to a, you guessed it, 3-1 lead. No chance. I think to myself. No chance they actually blow this. I sim another game and expect a popup saying the Cavs have won it all. Nope. Harden goes off and forces a Game 6. No chance this happens. Come on. Game 6 is a resounding Golden State win. Oh shoot. It might actually happen. I sim Game 7 and oh my goodness. The Warriors did it. The Golden State Warriors beat the Cavaliers be a score of 121 to 105 and the Cavs memeably blow the same series lead their opponents blew to them just 5 years earlier. Could not make this up.

    2nd Season (85 games played) but still can't change rotation minutes? Next-gen

    I'm on my second season of mycareer next-gen. I have already played 85 games (67 games in first season, 17 in playoffs, 1 in second season)and gym rat badge unlocked. Still haven't unlocked the change rotation minutes and still can't influence trade/fa. Is it glitched? I've seen people unlock it after 65ish games.

    The CPU in 2k games have always had to cheat on higher difficulties to make the game more difficult but 2k21 is the worst I've ever seen and I've been playing since 2k9. The CPU's shot selection is just god awful but they hit them at insane efficiency. Why can't 2k just program the computer to take good shots and play solid defense to make the game difficult instead of making terrible players play at all star levels, hit impossible shots, and teleport around the court in order to close out on shooters and grab offensive rebounds that aren't physically possible to get? Previous 2ks were so much better at this. What happened?

    All my layups are getting blocked

    I don't know i'f it is the layup animation I'm using (fundemental), but every time when I try to do a layup my layup gets blocked. Is it possible that layups and dunks aren't that easy and successful asast year? Or is it my build? Right now I have 61 driving layup and my potential comes out at 91.

    What is the best approach to developing a 2nd build?

    So I've created a build that I've always made in 2k, which is a defensive + post scoring big man (7ft). My play style has always been protecting the paint, grabbing rebounds, and post play. Decent mid range stats but I hardly shoot. Mostly dunks and put backs.

    To my dismay I found out not too long after I started going into park and Rec that they're basically useless in those game modes as it appears to be all about 3 pointers.

    I've developed my first build all the way to 99 (with Gym Rat) and to be honest I'm getting bored of not being able to make a big impact in online modes. As a result I have started a 2nd build as a more meta stretch big man (still 7ft) who literally has no strength nor post game, but can shoot 3s and still has good def/rebounding stats.

    My question is, how should I go about upgrading this 2nd build as quickly as I can (without buying VC).

    Should I continue to play offline career with my first build where I can make about 1.8k VC per game and dump those VC into the new build until I get it up to the mid-80s before i start grinding for badges? Or is there a better way. FYI I skipped the story for the 2nd build so the base salary is only 500VC so I'll be earning substantially less.

    It will probably take 200k VC to get a new build to the mid 80s right?

    Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

    Why can't we use city jerseys from previous years?

    For example, the black rainbow stripe Nuggets jerseys were in the game last month and got taken out as soon as the new City jerseys came out. The game has tons of historical jerseys going all the way back to the 60's but doesn't let us use past City jerseys. Why can't these jerseys be usable in the game if they're already there? I know this isn't a big issue, but it would be cool especially for teams like the Thunder or the Pelicans who don't have many jersey options.

    Is Pro-Am getting progressively more like the park?

    My same friends and I have been playing since 2K17. Back then, we could blow teams out with good ball movement, good shot selection, and great defense.

    We skipped 18 & 19, but last year, passing lanes were nearly non-existent with teams being able to spam the steal button and get crazy steal animations in the lanes.

    In 2K21 (next gen), it seems like pro-am is just a bunch of dribble moves into off balance 3s and alley oops from impossible angles... with no real defense to be played. It feels like the park but 5 on 5. Help defense feels horrible for us.

    Has anyone else had a similar experience?
