Thought id still play 1v1 online since the game still plays and looks great on next gen.. i cant because if opponent quits, you dont get a win. No point when people just quit. | Posted: 16 Dec 2020 10:45 PM PST I've never been a fan of the 2k series, but I'm a big basketball fan so I've bought all the games since 2k9. By far, 2k21 is the worst so far. I play mostly offline, so most of this is focused on gameplay rather than bugs or microtransactions. Things wrong: Offensive rebounds: why is it that when I am on defense, my players will act insanely quick and agile and get to the ball, but on offense my big can't even move a step to get the ball. This is regardless of if there is an opposing player in the paint too. Percentage covered on shots: I mean wut? All up in this guys grill and it's "7%" covered? I've never seen the percentage covered be over 50% except for on fouls. Shot percentage and makes: before layups were impossible to make, and now they're impossible to miss. This goes for 3s as well. Whoever is "wide open" will make the shot no matter their rating. Steals and passing lane: why is it that 2k decides if my guys will tip or catch the ball when I press steal? How come I can sit in the passing lane and the ball will go right through my defender? Full court passes: work every time. High-rated 3pt shooters: Damian Lillard, Steph, KD. Yea I get it, they're good shooters. But these guys go 11 for 13 a game on 3s. Nowhere near their real-life percentages. Dudes won't miss twice in a row. Alley-oops: you can press steal to stop them, but does that actually happen ever? Fatigue: what's the point of even having fatigue if a guy can play the whole game while scoring 70 points and not be tired. Even when the fatigued icon appears, there is no affect on the players actual skills or attributes. Those are my main issues that seem to be problems every time I play? I know sliders can be adjusted to fix some of these things but I'm just not sure why it's so bad this year? Any thoughts? [link] [comments] | ||
