    Instead of relying on "advanced" controls to create the skill gap, why not focus on gameplay mechanics that make sense?

    -Remove the visual cue of "greening" a shot so players have to manage the risk of attempting to go for an offensive/defensive board or taking off for a fast break

    -Defensive three-second violation when playing 3-on-3

    -Getting someone to bite on your pump fake at the rim should, you know, be a high percentage shot; especially if you're 6'11 and they're only 6'2

    -Lower the competence of the CPU when playing defense on the player with the ball to encourage the opponent to switch to that role instead of being reliant on the AI

    -Meter on/off should be the only thing that provides a boost to your shot percentage, shot stick aiming is not and never will be fun

    I know it's something every gaming community does, but as players get more badged out this year it's becoming more and more clear that this game doesn't take "more skill" than it took last year.

    People are greening consistently using the same shooting as last year (holding square), hitting more whites, consistently hitting deep fades, interior defense takes FAR less skill/IQ this year, etc. I feel like we try to claim the game takes "more skill" every year and it never, ever does.

    The amount of 5s I see in the rec running zone is ridiculous. No random will recognize the defense is playing a zone and they'll keep adding to the their turnovers.

    Pro am needs more incentives to keep these 5s out of rec stomping on randies.

    I see people saying that iso is dead but its not that. All the people that said they could "iso" last year were really just two way slash plays who would run left and right then hop step. IT TOOK ZERO SKILL. Now those same people realize they arent able to use the easiest build to use and have to resort to another way to win. Those same people that hopstepped last year cant iso anymore because they cant shoot at all and they patched hopsteps. Thats why we see so many play bots fading from 3 feet away. The casuals will always take the easy road when it comes to this game. It sucks but its true. I'm not the only person wanting to throw my tv out the window after somebody goes 7/7 all whites. All im saying as that real iso is hard and you're not gonna see it much this year unless an easy move comes up. Mostly screen bots and fade warriors.. smh

    Daily challenges not giving rewards?

    I've done the last two daily challenges for 5k and 2k VC and the game has told me I've completed them, however I never got the VC. Anyone else having this issue or am I missing something?

    Lower height should significantly boost lateral quickness

    Why don't small guards get a boost to lateral quickness? Why should a 6'0" guard have the same lateral quickness as a 6'5" guard? No one is making short lockdown guards, so boosting lateral quickness for small guards wouldn't devalue lockdown builds.

    It would make sense, since small guards are typically the quickest laterally in real life and they aren't really viable in 2K due to their lack of ability to defend. Yet again, there's really no benefits to making a small guard when compared to a 6'5" guard. You get a modest increase in speed/acceleration and ball handling while losing finishing ability, that's it.

    Boosting lateral quickness for small guards would help at least a little bit.

    No interviews, no cut scenes, no pre game show or post game show, no speaking reps in the stores or stands. No chance game extra fans by speaking meeting and greeting them after matches. I hope they add this stuff in an update cos I feel like my money went down the drain.
