- My entire team quit after I turned the ball over once in the 1st quarter. I was up against a full squad on my own. I’d like to personally thank people who don’t guard AI. This win felt good.

- To those of you who are playing rec a lot for the first time on next gen, you dont have to score to contribute.
- How much time have you wasted on this game because of the new City?
- Maximizing/efficiency for mypoints in mycareer. Screen shots of 68k. 12 min quarters. HOF difficulty. Alley-pop dunks for an easy 11k.
- Finally got Mamba Mentality on my Paint Beast PF. 22 Finishing, 14 Shooting, 3 Playmaking, and 25 Defensive & I got him to a 99.9 overall

- How have I only just learned that when your teammate in mycareer catches the ball and you press shoot they shoot straight away!

Just redeemed and got it for next gen EDIT: it gives you the 150k on current gen, if you activate and play on next gen it just gives 75k vc. | Posted: 07 Dec 2020 10:24 PM PST This game is completely unplayable as a random in MyCareer multiplayer modes such as The City or Rec. Rode around my skateboard for an hour yesterday tryna find games. If the park wasn't completely empty it was only squads running. I managed to play only 2 games in the time period. Decided to walk on in Rec and now 2k wants to give us two "SIXTY" overall AI's against a full squad of 5. Poor guards bc it's absolutely ridiculous having 3 guys running at you and spamming steal bc they don't have to guard the AIs since they're completely useless. My last mate graded out after his 10th turnover smh poor guy. Then no AI in the Rec plays defense. These guys are shooting uncontested jumpers the whole game in team take over. If a Dev happens to read this can you guys please bring back the walk on courts and traditional rec lobbies ? 75% of the community doesn't even have a next gen console. I don't want to be forced to play myCareer games bc i can't play online, it's absolutely boring me to death. It seems like a total waste of money at this point .... If you're butt naked open in the corner obviously take the shot but if you've been off maybe dont take that shot with a defender closing out. Make that extra pass. You'll be amazed how much you can contribute by just making smart passes and getting back on defense in transition. [link] [comments] | ||

Posted: 07 Dec 2020 10:49 AM PST You get a skateboard that moves like a sailboat, to get to things no one asked for... who tf ever said, I wish the Nike and Adidas items were in separate stores 45 seconds away.. you get locked to an affiliation, and then if you regret it or want to change because the courts in your hood are so fucked that your character is a shadow figure, you lose all progress on rep.. you spend vc and grind badges, que into a rec game with 2 A.I.s, get trounced, and have no choice but to do it all again in the hopes of MAYBE, having fun next time.. park is no different, it's either constant frame skips, shit teammates or awful voice chat that ruins the experience shouldn't have to have 2 friends online to enjoy the game. Fuck 2k. That's without getting into the fact that this is debatably the most micro transaction hungry game ever released. Fuck 2k again [link] [comments] | ||

| PS5 Users: Utilize the PS Button to Lobby Drop Faster in Rec Posted: 07 Dec 2020 08:22 PM PST If you're like me and absolutely refuse to go into a game when an AI populates your lobby, utilize the PS button and how it displays the quick jump method into another game mode. MyTeam, Play Now, whatever. They'll all get you out without having to close app. Since 2K decided to make the initial startup load take much longer, it's far more efficient than having to close up or wait for the exit prompt to generate, or not generate. You can also use this method up until the part where you see your 5 man team start to run out of the dressing room without punishment to stats, loss of boosts, your record, etc.. If you don't move fast enough and wind up in the actually Rec game, you will need to close app instead. This faster method does treat it like a quit out. Anyone who already realized this, well done. If you haven't, this will help you save some time on this cluster fuck of a matchmaking system. [link] [comments] | ||

| Posted: 08 Dec 2020 01:13 AM PST I saw a few posts about this but nothing conclusive came out of it. I don't have vibrations using the haptics on my controller when I play 2k. It's on in Astro's playroom. I do have the adaptable triggers though. The L2 button simulates vibration by clicking or something? Bit unsure how that's a good feature but sure. I remember the controller vibrating upon dribbles slightly on either side years ago and I expected heaps of use of the haptics upon dunks and contact animations, but, there's nothing. Is this just me or is this happening to anyone else? I swear it was broken in previous 2ks as well but I may have only just realised due to the focus on the controller as a feature (which I love).
