    This is unfknbelievable. You could not cater to playing without a full squad of friends any less. Keep in mind sometimes I have a full squad on and its an absolute snooze fest.

    GET RID OF THE AIs. IF THE ISSUE IS PLAYER POPULATION, I WOULD RATHER WAIT 3 MINUTES. IF THE ISSUE IS EVERYONE MAKING PFs, ELIMINATE THE POSITION RESTRICTIONS. Rec is unplayable 80% of the time, being an absolute snooze fest or infuriating watching a team abuse your AI who sags on every 3. The worst part is there is no way 2k patches the AI. Perhaps if they were actually useful it would be less of an issue, but there's no way that this is necessary.

    For what I consider to have the best build system and game play for quite some time, the game has never been less playable. Pro-Am community is also ruined with this ranked 'league night' which is never communicated, while only beasts of the east remains a populated park.... these unplayability issues go on but The Rec absolutely takes the cake.

    Moved up to the draft board to become a solid 1st round pick.

    They make you pick only one team to work out for but neglect to tell you you're essentially choosing your team even though you answered that you don't care where you go.

    Suddenly the draft day comes and Robot GOAT Machine Cobb gets drafted first overall to the same team that drafted me at second overall.

    This team for me was the Spurs.

    This is NOT a scenario that's possible in the NBA without the Spurs being forced to leverage essentially every single asset they have. And even then, it might still be literally impossible to pull off.

    Who are the players the 2k team is catering to with these terrible story modes? Do any of you play through this thing and think to yourselves "god damn this is super duper cool! 🤓"?

    I would have loved to have been in the meeting where 2k decided that adding 60 overall AIs to the rec was a good idea.

    On next gen Rec theres a few scenarios you'll run into as a solo player.

    1. If you have a 60 overall AI on your team and you're facing a full 5 squad, theres a good chance you're going to loose that game. Unless the team on the other side is completely incompetent and don't understand how to expose the AI, which is rare.

    2. You'll load up in the locker room with a full squad thinking hey, finally a game that'll be competitive, think again! You'll get iced out the entire game while the 3 dudes that are squad'd up run a 3 man offense thinking that's how they'll win in a 5v5 game mode. While you're just sitting wide open while your character puts his hands on his hips because even he knows he won't be touching the rock anytime soon.

    3. Lastly the sweaty 5 man squads. Now this is more on 2k than the player base because ProAM is broken and is basically unplayable at the moment so I understand these guys wanting to get games in. But man dose this ruin the experience for the more casual players trying to play some pick up ball. It's already bad with the terrible players but you mix it in with a proam team on the other side you're in for a good ass whopping. This is the breaking point for me and I just end up playing something else.

    Being exclusively a rec/proam player 2k has made the 5v5 experience totally underwhelming and it's been on a steady decline for a while. There's is absolutely no pick up and play value in this game whatsoever.

    Is 3pt Shooting Bugged or Do I Suck?

    For some reason, I cannot score any 3 pointers in 2k, no matter how open I am, or what difficulty I play. I score roughly 5-10% of 3's I take (that aren't excellent releases), the majority of which are slightly early or late. Keep in mind my line-up consists of George Hill, Luka, Iggy, KAT and Myles Turner, all pretty decent 3pt shooters. The only non shooter on my team is Favors.

    However, every once in a while I'll have a game where all of sudden I'll go 40-50%, but it's once in a blue moon and I don't know why.

    Is there an easier way to score 3's or do I literally have to get an excellent release every time to stand a chance? And if so, is there a strategy I can use to improve my releases? I play on my Switch, handheld, btw. Any help or suggestions would be awesome.

    Can they please update this? The fact that they're a 60 overall isn't even the worst part. They don't shoot, they don't cover the perimeter, they get stupid fouls. I get the reasoning for having AI teammates to get quicker games, but at least make them viable teammates. On offense, the other team doesn't cover the AI and double team the real players since they don't do anything but stand on the 3 point line. This needs a fix ASAP.
