Chris Smoove plays amazing in a game, but 2K acts like he played terrible and pulls him out of the game, followed by a couple BS cutscenes. Next generation scripted story!

Timmerman confirms that a low Close Shot rating will lead to missed Standing Layups. My previous 2k experience confirms that a high Close Shot rating will also lead to missed Standing Layups.

PSA: If you were lucky enough to get a new console, as I was, and bought 2k21 Mamba Edition, make sure you download the right edition.
It seems that attribute caps can increase your badge tier at 99
2K Producer: "If a badge has a requirement that you can hit when you reach 95+ overall (i.e. when you get +1 to +4 to your attributes) then yes, you can unlock and equip that badge once you reach that overall. If your overall dips, you don't lose the badge"
As a widely rejected SF who is too short to rebound against Centers, this is my proudest play in the Park

As the title says, got new Series X, upon set up, you have the option of transferring your settings from your prior console. I selected yes, which is fine. This transfers all your settings and saved pins. Where my mistake occurred was when I clicked on my NBA2K21 saved pin with Lilliard on the pic, I assumed it would download the new edition since I was on the new console. An hour later, I login and no new 100kVC, nor new edition.

You actually have to go into the MS store to find the Next Generation Edition, with Zion in the pic, which will show you already own. So, an hour wasted on downloading old version to new console and 1 hour 45 mins pending now on correct version. Hope this helps someone else from preventing the same mistake. Be well all!
