The refinements they have made are impressive. Movement is crisp, animations blend well, not a lot of unearned defender jail. Finishing at the basket feels rewarding (FINALLY!) I'm ACTUALLY having fun. I'm sure IGN will kill this game for no innovative mode, Youtubers will diss it (That gets likes) but as a BASKETBALL fan, I tip my hat to the dev team. | For those who are going red/green... Posted: 03 Sep 2020 05:17 PM PDT Be prepared for pain.... lots of pain 😂🤣 significant nerf compared to last year and I'm only grinding badges in career on pro. Feels like a totally different game now. The shooting nerf huge. Not complaining at all, it's good for the game but damn... didn't expect this. Shooting a blistering 20% from 3 w/ hof range extender and a couple other badges on PRO. 85% of my shots are wide open. This is coming from someone who shot 70% from 3 in rec/proam/park in 2k20 on a red/green. Just thought I'd let y'all know for those considering thinking red/green will shoot the same as last year! Good luck 🙏🏾 <b>EDIT: Everyone saying Mike Wang says you need a 75 3 to be a 'threat' I have a 76 3/ 79 mid. 16-1 in pro-am/park with hof shooting badges. Take a look at my deadly shooting from 3. I've taken over 30 wide open 3s. Literally people daring me to shoot. I'm all for the nerf and the change to NON SHOOTING builds, but this is ridiculous imo for a build with green in it.</b> [link] [comments] | ||
| HOT TAKE: 2K21 feels improved/better in many ways IMO Posted: 04 Sep 2020 01:29 AM PDT Honestly, playing for a few hours now once I got the shooting mechanics down (still bricking some shots lol) this game just feels better than the last few 2Ks, especially 20. It seems that things feel smoother and AIs are hitting/missing shots somewhat more realistically (this is from my experience playing the MyCareer intro games and such). I know a lot may still be the same as 2K20 and just re-skinned, but playing both offense and defense just has a better feeling to it. [link] [comments] | ||
