    Blatant ways to prolong MyCareer games

    I'm tired of the blatant ways 2k prolongs the MyCareer games man. A few of these include:

    • Moving the sim out with VC lead required from 11 to25
    • Sitting your player when your up 20+ points and coming back to the game when the team is losing
    • The other team hitting less than usual shots when you are nearing the "Up 25 points" benchmark
    • Horrible AI defense at certain points
    • Horrible AI shots at those same certain points

    It just doesn't seem realistic for a starter to be on the bench the whole time while the other team is on a 20-2 run. I don't know if I'm more mad at the tactics or the blatancy from 2k tbh. Also, not scaling the lead required to sim out by minutes is crazy. It is much easier to be up 25 in games that have 12 minute quarters than games that have 5 minute quarters.

    Who the fuck thought the neighborhood was a good idea? All it does is flood the fuckin lobby with people who are going to get tattoos or clothes or daily spin. No wonder its impossible to find park games, only 25% of the lobby is actually playing park games. It needs to go back to the way it was in 17, only people who want to play park are there. Idk if this is a common talking point or not, I didnt play 18 or 19 much for obvious reasons.

    A new season is coming up and a new chapter with next gen consoles releasing. Im a long time nba2k player, since the 1st one to be honest, but am fairly new to this community...maybe 3-4 years. There's crap here about the game, about experiences online, about the people......but what I don't see a lot of is appreciation for those of you who put A LOT of information out there. For those of you who help us learn how to navigate through the product that 2k sports puts out every year. To the ones who do the research, the tests, who put out the numbers, the build advice, who keep up with nba2k news. To the mods, most def for contributing and doing these same things. THANK. YOU. ALL! There are a lot of complaints and grumbling that happens when it comes to the games and our experiences, but more importantly, there's very very important information that is frequently shared here throughout the entire season. I've heard it said often, "You got to to think of it as playing nba2k, more so than playing actual basketball." This community has contributed GREATLY to me understanding that. Here's looking forward to a fresh year!

    Buzzer beaters chances

    Is it true that buzzer beaters have a higher chance of going in?

    I only ask because 3 times in a row I've had buzzer beaters at the end of the game that have gotten in to tie up the game (including while contested). Made me assume they have a higher chance of going in, or maybe I'm just lucky.

    I'm new to the series, so just wanted to confirm.

    Anyone here a big man in mycareer? I like to make good inside bigs that can slash and defend. Finding it hard to find the best build in the demo. I've gone PF 6'9, slashing and Defending pie chart with the well rounded physical pie chart, 240lbs. Just curious as to what others are making?
