Defensive builds shouldn’t have anywhere near the offense they have.

    Posted: 07 Jul 2020 08:01 PM PDT

Makes no sense how a playmaking/defending build gets every contact dunk and can shoot from limitless. Now you add on 99 speed and vert, and HOF defense. Most OP build in the game

And I hate the narrative that it takes so much skill. Hitting an open shot Witt a 70 three point rating isn't that hard. I have a 65 and pull from the top of the key with ease.

IMO a playmaking/defending build shouldn't have way better finishing than a playmaking/shooting build

What would y’all like in Next Gen my career

    Posted: 07 Jul 2020 11:31 PM PDT

I'd love branching storylines that allow everyone to have a different unique story so my idea of the story is you are a ranked high school player playing with a nationally known prep school(could be real like IMG or Montverde or a generic one) and they can let us play the high school national semi finals and championship(it'll help you decide your next step).

Here's where the different arcs take in place. You're ready to make your decision on what you're gonna do in the next step

Overseas: choose to go overseas like lamelo, Brandon Jennings and many others have done and play for either a real overseas team in a real league or 2K can make it all up. Only play like 3-5 games to get draft stock

G-League: if y'all keep up with high school hoops Jalen Green, and Isaiah Todd is going this route play 3-5 games in the G-League to determine stock

College: of course you'll be a one and done at either a real college powerhouses(Michigan, Kansas, UCLA(named those because they was in previous 2Ks)) or generic schools that 2K provides with each school providing something that benefits you(example... one may provide more national exposure so your stock can be improved tremendously or one might not have that much exposure but have a coaching staff and team that can help you skill wise for the league)

Now i said the high school games would help because say if you played poor the college and G-league route might not be the best bet because only colleges you may only be able to choose is lower tier where you might not be a true one and done(not saying you can't go those routes but overseas might be better)

Pre-draft: you now in the draft process and the draft combine approaches no matter what your stock is you'll have the option to either participate in all drills and scrimmage and team interviews, just drills and interviews or just the interviews(mind you you perform bad in drills and scrimmage can hurt your stock) if you a top 3 pick I'll just do team interviews.

Now you move on to team workouts and interviews weeks before the draft(unlike this year where you can choose these are completely random based on your position, team needs, team potential fits, and how you performed) and try not to bomb the questions in the interview unless you just don't want to play there

If you a top pick lock anywhere 1-20 you may be eligible to sign with a shoe company now if you a top pick(1-10) you may have multiple to choose from later in the draft you're projected you may only get one or none and they also completely random so you choose to chose a brand now or wait and ball out until you get better offers and more companies?

After the draft it's more of the NBA stuff and ain't much decisions except off the court stuff(hanging with teammates, partying, meeting with coach or watching film) all these have pros and cons(example partying all the time may bring in more friends but the organization might not be happy with that and may trade you or release you without you having a say so

Needless to say I'll want a my career like this because you can keep the cheesy story and let me write my own story all the pre draft stuff let me change the difficulty so it wouldn't be a cake walk to being the #1 pick and don't let scoring dominate the factor in my spot like have teams look at my like he maybe be a scoring threat but I've shown to be a liability of getting my team involved or playing defense and have the teams in the interviews ask me about that or any weaknesses and how i choose to change it

I like unpredictability and able to tell my friends something that happen in my my career that may not happen in there's(example i got injured for a couple months and missed playoffs and etc or i got traded for being selfish and not thinking of the team)

I took a lot of time to type this and I'm sorry if it's too much but i wanted to share my my career wishlist sorta and wanted to see what y'all like to see out of my career or if y'all like my ideas or have any tweaks to it

Is there even ONE justifiable reason I need an internet connection to play offline?

    Posted: 07 Jul 2020 10:15 PM PDT

I just got 2k20 and after 15 minutes I'm ready to never touch this series again. I've had to build my character three times and halfway through my first game I got disconnected from the servers and had to start all over. Are 2k's servers always this shit? Also, why the hell do I need to be connected to their servers at all?!?!?!? I'm playing offline. How have these practices been permitted?

Side note: is there any way to skip the cutscenes? Because I don't care at all about them

How does preordering a copy of the new 2K work if I’m doing it on the 2K website? When do they actually ship out the game to us? And do we pay the entire total up front?
