You know 2k20 didn’t have effort put into it when you get kicked out for low teammate grade... in a 1v1 event

The biggest skill gap in MyCareer is knowing which builds are competitive and which animations to use with them—none of which are knowable without third party information or costly trial and error.

It wouldn't even be an issue if it was easier to make and level up new characters. But that's not how it works. 2K offers zero protection for making sub-optimal or flat out broken builds. They happily let you sink hours of your time and dozens of your dollars into flawed characters, let you get your ass beat (because there's no matchmaking) by people who know the meta, and laugh all the way to the bank when you drop even more money to make a new player.

It's all so catered to the YouTube/Twitch crowd, it's crazy. You're either plugged in to the meta, or you're thrown to the wolves.

love it when i get stuck in the animation where you hang on the rim and point to the non existent crowd, letting your defender get down the court with no defense and hit a wide open 3 to win

Unpopular Opinion - We shouldn’t be hoping for a Kobe cover

    Posted: 23 Jun 2020 06:23 AM PDT

it's not okay for 2K to capitalize on his death. There's different ways they can pay tribute to Kobe but selling a game with his face on it isn't one of them

This is my favorite, and in my opinion, best, build in the game.

4 things I would love to see in 2k21

    Posted: 24 Jun 2020 01:31 AM PDT

Disclaimer this will be about finishing because I am one of the select few that still enjoy it

1-the first is change the shot meter for layups. With the layup being the easiest shot statistically in basketball I think the green window for that should be significantly higher for layups and should go down very little. If you watch basketball you'll see that layups are very rarely missed unless very stellar defense is played or there is a block. If a shooter can green 13 3s in a game I should be able to do the same as a finisher. I can count on one hand how many times I've green a layup

2- there needs to be a power dibble. If you don't know what that is look it up on YouTube. The power dribble is a move that is used to create space and get closer to the basket. The main reason this is needed so a big who is on the block can do a more powerful layup rather than the soft ass ones that are given. Plus it'll help bigs get out from behind the backboard safer.

3- instead of changing my dunk animation that I obviously see activate but once the defense "contests" it I get a soft ass layup animations that are hit or miss. Instead I would like the option for an aggressive attack the basket button input to where I go up more aggressive for a contact dunk. It sounds op but hear me out, instead of making every contact dunk you Ja Morant it where you throw it off the back of the rim, get stuffed by the rim or even throw it off the backboard. Idk something I'm just tired of my triggering a dunk animation to have it changed to a weak ass layup that I'll probably miss. It can literally be as simple as changing the two handed dunk input (RS up) to aggressive dunk.

4- this is not as important but I miss it and that's off the backboard alley-oops to a teammate.

That's it, shooters have been getting love for the past couple of years and even got the whole dynamic of shooting in 2k20 changed when they cried "shooting is too hard" so they can go 10/10 from three off snatch back, step back, fading, leaning and contested shots. All I'm saying is It's time for finishers to get some love too
