Earn cash prizes and special user flair, starts May 23. �� Posted: 18 May 2020 12:36 PM PDT ​ Promo Banner (Updated) Park 3v3 PLATFORMS: XB1/PS4, one bracket per console, 16 max per bracket TIME: 4 PM ET on May 23, 2020, completed in one day ENTRY: $10 per team PRIZE: $150 for champions, $50 for runner-ups Larry O'Brien trophy in user flair for champions RULES: Best of 3 series per round. The higher seed in the bracket starts with the ball, alternate for every game after, run out the clock to switch possession if needed. Same lineup must be used for all games. Boosts, mascots, and Legend accounts are allowed. MATCHMAKING: One team's captain joins a Neighborhood with an empty court. That captain then invites the other team's captain to the same Neighborhood. Remaining players join their captain. At the end of each game, leave the court immediately to prevent a new game from starting with someone else in the 'Got Next' spots. Do NOT use the subway to switch servers. Play Now Update (May 20): The Switch tournament has been cancelled due to a lack of sign-ups. Sorry for any inconvenience. Sign-Up Links XB1 | PS4 Only the team captain signs up. Captains, you are responsible for communicating information to the rest of your team! Checking In and Playing The bracket will be randomly generated and players will be notified of their matchup. IMPORTANT: Please read through the Walkthrough on the page where you sign up for information on checking in and playing your matches! This is a one day event so check in times are strict. Failure to check in and be ready to play results in an automatic forfeit. Reporting Scores and Disputes After each round, both players report the result to the site; if discrepancies occur, players will need to provide photo or video evidence. Not in a single game of these was there a player other than me who shot non-contested shots. Now, even the best player can be late contested but that did not happen with these players. There was a defender directly in front of them at all times. After the 10th bricked deep red contested shot or the 10th off-3sec a normal person, even if they're a beginner, would realize what they're doing is not working. But not these people. 2k used to be fun now it's just me spending most of my time getting game dodged and waiting for games Posted: 20 May 2020 08:55 AM PDT 2k has been my favorite game ever since they dropped park , idk why but the idea and concept of the park just fascinated me and I've been hooked since, anyways , in the last 2-3 years the community has gotten much worse , people always running from games and not wanting to play comp to better themselves , I never had this issue till 2k19 , I'm only an elite 1 at the moment and there's times where I will spend over a half an hour to get a game , 2k needs to either make games immediately lock in or somehow punish people who gamedodge, and no there is no excuse in the book to gamedodge so don't tell me that , if your gamedodging anybody you are a bigger factor than 2k in killing this game submitted by /u/throwdreamduck42 [link] [comments]
