    It's been less than 12 hours since the Demo came out, and already there are hundreds of thousands of videos from these over obnoxious spuds. "I found the best new build in nba 2k21 point guard DeMiGoD (hate that fuckin word) build will shut down nba 2k21 forever", and all the video is is them picking a pie chart and filling out its attributes, maxing driving dunk layup and close shot. Then usually shooting playmaking and a few defensive. Give or take from each one. But literally all they're doing is making something that is exactly what's meant to be made based on their pie chart and people absolutely lose their minds over it. I'm 30, so maybe I don't understand the hype but man how can people be so sucked in to their bullshit and not realise that they can just do the exact same thing. These YouTubers aren't 'Finding' anything, it's common knowledge that if you pick a pie chart and fill the attributes then that's the build you're gonna get. They just seem to be everywhere and so many people put them on a pedestal and continue to feed the beast. Insanity

    As we all know the 2k21 Demo is dropping today, and the game will release soon. I just wanted to pen an open letter to all the shooters in the community.

    Please please please, for the love of God, please do NOT complain about shooting 3s before you get all your shooting badges HOF, getting all your hot zones, and finding the superior jumpshot, and mastering the new shooting mechanics.

    Why? Because almost EVERY single year, shooters complain about shooting right when the game comes out and people are still getting used to it and grinding. Mike Wang caves in to the casuals and buffs shooting.

    Next thing you know when the meta sets, and everyone finds the perfect jump shots and masters the new shooting mechanics (for example shooting without meter to give you more boosts) and figures out the shooting badges that work... then almost everyone in the game is shooting 3s lights out with poor ass 3 ratings.

    At the end my shooters that will come back to bite you as well because your build also becomes obsolete. Sure you can shoot 3s, but guess what? Now the lock can also shoot 3s and clamp you up, the slasher can dunk on your face and also shoot 3s in your mouth, the playmaker is not only breaking your ankles but shooting 3s better than you ever will.

    So please while your grinding I know it will be tough, you'll be bricking everything. But go through it and know when the meta sets at least you will be the one that will shoot consistently, the shooter!

    builder is the same, they just added piecharts

    didn't even change the menus

    limited to play 5 quick games (why?)

    the game plays exactly the same, there's no excuse, this wasn't even a month of work, yes, Coronavirus has slowed development and stuff in workplaces (even in mine) but they didn't even bother to change nothing

    they still happily charge 60 dollars

    Custom pie charts wouldn’t be ‘Too OP’ if everyone had access to it (TitanFall Meta)

    Ive seen people complain about Custom Pie charts breaking the game, here's why it wouldn't:

    If everyone had access to it, people can make equally as good build and this allows people to base their player off of their favourite NBA player.

    The TitanFall Meta goes: If everything is OP then nothing is OP, in 2K terms, if every build is the meta, then no build is the meta. We could have Giannis builds, LeBron builds, Ben Simmon builds... etc

    Overall, it would allow more freedom of builds without it being game breaking

    TL;DR Every build can be the meta, so it wouldn't be op
