    How do I ask for lineup suggestions?

    Display your lineup using a site like 2KMTC or take an in-game screenshot and upload it to Imgur.

    Along with the link to your lineup, include your platform (XB1/PS4/PC/NSW/Stadia), MT available to spend, and questions you have. The more information you include, the easier it is for others to help you.

    • 2K21: Different jumpshot animations should give players release timing preference but no other advantages. If every jumpshot had the same green window, it would make the game more fair (and also get rid of people experiencing placebo complaining about nerfs/buffs).

    2K should have personality badges for online modes, based on how players play.

    If you're a ballhog who dribbles more than he passes, you get the Ballhog badge. If you have a high points to assists ratio you get the Unselfish badge. If you quit games often you get the Quitter badge. If you fight til the bitter end you get the Warrior badge or something like that. These badges should be showcased over the head of every player that walks around the park or joins the Rec que, so it's easy to decide whether you want to play with them or not.

    Majority of good 2k players choose their jumpshot based on stats that 2K Lab brings us every year, they go with the biggest green window, quickest shots, best make %s, etc.

    I have spent so much time testing jumpers that I create and I have had a lot more greens playing with the jumpshots that I personnally found. I think there's a lot more to jumpshots than stats, it's all about how you're feeling with your shot in my opinion.

    I have used a perimeter lockdown all year, but my friends that play other positions and build all play with the jumpshots that I tested for them, since I know for a fact that the jumpshot I gave them fits their builds and playstyles.

    I am ready to share my secrets with reddit users that want to start greening more shots with a jumpshot that fits their builds perfectly. Just comment down your build and 3 pt rating and i'll do my best to give you the last jumpshot you'll equip this year.

    I recommend not going into your MyCourt to test your new jumper, as the latency is park will throw your timing off. Also, there is absolutely no reason to keep your shot meter on.

    Before coming back on this post telling me that my jumpshots are trash, give it a good 5-10 park games to really get a feeling for the shot. Just thank me later.

    That way, it is slightly more real, you can sub out your fatigue player and also make it more interesting to test opponent defence with another player build.

    It also help 2k in that player will create more characters to compete in Rec.

    EDIT: Add on restrictions:

    1. Position -- i.e. you can only bring C/PF or SG/PG/SF
    2. Level - follows the same as current matching, you can only bring level 60-92 or 93-99 together

    Why is Almost Every Card That NBA2k Puts Out in MyTeam Have to Have An Overpowered 3-pt stat?

    I just don't get it... by doing this it renders cards people spent loads of mt and time trying to get (and vc opening packs for those who do it) obsolete. Every card that they drop nowadays is getting really high 3pt stats, even players who don't shoot threes well. Why would I want to spend my mt or real money to get cards that will be unusable later, as better cards will be released?

    Some examples:

    Nix Claxton (92):

    • 3pt Rating: 93
    • Career %: 14.3

    Bob Pettit (96)

    • 3pt Rating:96
    • Career%: HE DIDN'T ATTEMPT A 3 BECAUSE THERE WERE NONE!

    Cody Zeller: (95)

    • 3pt Rating: 85
    • Career%: 24.4

    Its especially apparent in triple threat. If you have a player who can't shoot the 3, the opponent will just off ball you for a guaranteed loss. Even Shaq can get a 99 3.
