    Okay, so let me start by saying that I a am no way affiliated with the 2k community. this post may as well be a /r/conspiracy post. however, I feel the 2k community is too aware of this situation to not make a topic of it.

    So, we are all aware of COVID-19. It has taken away many of the things that we hold dear in life, the main thing we all are sharing most likely being the cancellation of the NBA season. This was not good news to anybody. The NBA postponing its season, whether you like it or not, had a very direct yet inadvertent response on the USA's response to this pandemic.

    So, where does that leave 2k? i completely understand that a lot of you most likely have- they are delivering more content to us then usual, and are doing more than they would've then without cornavirus. However, I simply asking you all to think about the situation at hand. We are all stuck in our houses. We are all subjects to our own entertainment preferences, and at the same time I feel like 2k is painfully aware of this and is taking advantage of the 2k community during this stressful time.

    1. Even lower pack rates, with higher buy rates

    I have seen an alarming amount of posts in the recent days about people buying VC and pulling nothing. And while this is nothing outside of the normal for people and their unpacking experiences in myteam, I simply just need to direct attention to other companies initiatives during this issues that they have done for the betterment of their fanbase versus exploiting them like 2k has done.

    these are simply posts to draw awareness to the fact that other companies are helping the situation, and giving back to the public during this situation. 2k has done none of that

    Okay, they may have released a lot of locker codes during the past few weeks. A shocking amount actually. But im simply asking you all to think about this for a moment. Lets think abouts 2ks position in this pandemic. They have-

    benefited off the copious amount of people staying home-people who are staying home are going back to 2k. off my own, friends, and other peronsal accounts of this happening, this situation is driving a lot of people who were done with 2ks bullshit back to the game, just based on the fact there is nothing else to do in their house and they love basketball. they have no alternative. except... ' 2. 2ks exploitation of the pandemic

    2k as used this pandemic more to their advantage than to their dismay, like many other companies around the world are facing. 2k sim replaces the NBA schedule. 2k has games between legitimate NBA players broadcast-ed on ESPN. Do you actually think that those events didn't generate a few extra sale of the game, and myteam packs and VC sales in general?

Ronnie2k- Ronnie is a scumbag. we all know this. we've known it for years, and it is no secret to the 2k community. however, during all of this, ronnie has seemed to play victim harder than ever before. He is currently searching for an assistant (which is made clear in his recent tweet) despite the fact he also states its simply because he needs "help" (im sorry, have you not been in this position since I started playing since 2k16? and im not even going to look into how long you were in the position before then, but the fact you picked now to look for an assistant is absolutely absurd)

    1. THE GAME ITSELF- Now this is mainly going to be directed at the myteam community. I just want you to think about the cards accessible to you right now. now, extremely "glitched" and OP cards are nothing new to myteam, not even close. But lets think back to 2k16. Easter of 2k16? the hypest card was diamond Dennis Rodman. it's not secret 2k's powercreep is something that intensified every year. So I want you all to think about WHY in march, we had a Grayson Allen card with 27 HOF badges (might be off on that, but you get the point) versus what rodman was in 2k16. Yeah, he has a 78 3 or whatever it was, but really? grayson allen is a laughing stock in Myteam. their are a thousand better card you can get. but how do you get those cards? money.

    VC has been destroying this game for years, and now at a time of crisis it seems they are only exploiting that fact more. I am see WAY too many posts and comments about people spending absurd amounts of VC to try and pull one of these new exciting cards, just to be greeted with shitty gold and silvers. they are actively encouraging the sale of these packs with VC sales while making pack odds EVEN WORSE just because they know we are all so bored we will buy packs anyways. Do not let the abundance of locker codes and card drops fool you. They are fucking scumbags, and they always will be.

    WHERE: ESPN or WatchESPN (sign in with TV provider).

    SEEDING: Players are seeded based on 2K20 rating, and then tenure in the league.

    RULES: Every player will choose eight of today's NBA teams, each of which can only be used once. If a mirror match is set, the away team is awarded first choice of team. Rounds 1 and 2 are single elimination. Semifinals and finals are best of three. Difficulty is All-Star.

    PRIZE: The winner of the event will receive $100,000 to give to a charity in support of the coronavirus relief efforts.

    Well, Nba 2k MyCareer is one of the best game concepts that i've ever seen. There's nothing that feels better than somewhat of complete authenticity over your player. You can customize anything u want to: Build, Face, clothes, animations and in 2k20 even your badges. And u can play the sport we all love. I don't know a single sports game that has a similar concept.
    There are things that i would love having in 2k21:
    Let's start with something not gameplay related:
    - New park - Make a mall and put everything there, Make 3 more courts and make a little space between them, Add 1v1 courts to Casual park, (ofc this would require better servers but i think having 2 different lobbies for tryhards, sweats and for casuals would help this problem)
    - New hairstyles - There's so many hairstyles that people wear and its crazy we're limited to like 20-30 - New shoes - i know you probably dont have all the rights and stuff but just please bring some new shoes. Travis scott's Air force 1's are still in What's new section despite being out for like 2 years

    - New clothes in general + clothes from all 2k's before - make floors in Swag's so you can choose if you want to go with sportswear, streetwear or something more like high fashion (Leather backpacks, these fake gucci's, belts etc.))-
    - Remake wheel spin : Don't put different brands and their items, put a swags item and let us take anything even if its the overpriced hoodie we all want. same with 2k shoes and every stuff that is in there that gives u the option to choose a item, make people happy about their wheel spin even if its not double rep or bonus from this year's elite spin)

    Now to the gameplay:-

    - Casual and Ranked park - How i imagine this:
    - Casual park : No effect on your rep, no record , just a casual park for you to play with randoms or have fun with your friends, you could try out that new wet jumpshot that everyone's talking about, or your new badges and animations, while not having to wait for games because you're high rep and people are scared of you. And also, you wouldnt lose anything, if you want to be competitive - go to ranked, if you wanna have fun and not get flamed for screwing up or trying out new builds, badges or just simply grind your player in online games - play casual
    - Ranked park games : (SKILL BASED MATCHMAKING) Entrance would be the same as when u enter Events, you will choose what game mode you want to play (1s.2s.3s) and if you want to play solo ranked, fill squad or as a squad(Solo would play solo players, fill squad would play a filled squad, and squad would only play a squad)
    Rep and your record is shown at the start of the game with all the stats like its now in 2k20. Skill based matchmaking but if you get on a winning streak and closer to promoting in your rep you'll get a challenger match.
    Challenger games - A random game after playing well or bad. These games would be your chance to go up in your rep or a chance to save your rep, if you're performing well you would have a chance to fight higher rep players for your rep up game, on the other hand, if you're performing badly, you would have to fight for your rep with a lower rep player that would want to take your spot. If there's no challenger match available you'll play a higher rep and get bonus based on the difference between your rep.
    - Change rep system - Let us see our progression in the rep system with some numbers like 2k19 or just make some rep points that will indicate when your next Challenger game approaches.
    Don't put clothing and things you can wear as rep rewards, i know you want to make people play the game as much as possible but let people wear anything they like (except mascots), you can't make people play a game where they have to earn stuff like pieces of clothing. What difference does it make if a bad player can wear a backpack or something else, bad players make payments too.
    - Change the way how you obtain progress towards rep : Wins>Stats>Teammate grade>mypoints
    - MyCareer badge and MyPoints buff: We don't play mycareer because its fun (well most of us at least) We play it because, we have to get our player to its full potential so we can go and get the best record or the highest rep. I have many friends that wanted to play the game and learn how to play it but they just gave up when they realized they had to play around 100 games just to get their myplayer ready for some park games. Also from their experience it felt very hard even on Pro difficulty.
    - Fix glitches in park (train station, the lamp that gets u stuck, put stairs out of 2s courts)
    - Pro am Pro bronze glitch fix
    - Pro am rep bonus
    - Boost stamina - these are pro players that play nba, you cant be blinking red after sprinting for a fastbreak and then guarding a man for 10 seconds when the score is only 4-2.
    - Nerf skill boost - This year it feels like you dont have a complete player until you buy your boosts, boosts should be something good but not necessary. What i mean is: You struggle to get your contact dunks with 85 driving dunk until you buy boost, Ankle breakers without boost are hard asf. What i understand is, if my 2way slashing playmaker buys boost he should be able to make his 3s with more consistency, but i had 0 contact dunks or ankle breakers until i've bought boost for it and thats just sad, you work on your player just to pay 5k per 10 games which u probably won't even make in those 10 games (in park)
    - Limit release speed according to wingspan: This would actually stop people from making point guards that can touch their knees while standing
    - Take out build names and just put our name below our legs : Not a huge thing but, If i made a pure playmaker why tf am i called a slashing playmaker or some 2 way 3 level Shooting guard Facilitating finishing back to basket demigod lol.. just take it out it pisses me off.
    - Let us play with the pie charts - The more you let us change about our players the better the game feels for us
    - Grind to 99 with milestones - Let's say overall system would stay, u get 95 and then u get +1 for every attribute. Put milestones after 95. For example let's say you're a Pure Slasher, the milestones for 96 would look somewhat like this : Get 20 posterizing dunks, finish fastbreak with a dunk 20 times, make 20 acrobat layup. If you're a double archetype you would have to make the milestones from both archetypes.
    - Rep rewards - Put really rare things in the rep rewards, not backpacks, not the ability to take your shirt off or get your neck tattoed. Takeover booster is a really good reward as you're only gonna play
    - Ban people who leave games. Give them a warning with a soft 15 minute ban and then go for 2 hrs and scale up. If anyone here played CS GO the same exact shit needs to be in 2K.
    - RELEASE YOUR DAMN PATCH NOTES !: i don't think i've ever seen one game that puts a patch out and the patch notes say: '' Many, many more fixes included to improve the overall experience of NBA 2K20! '' i wanna know what u fixed, like cmon im not gonna be mad that you say you fixed a tree that caused some lags in park or whatever bullshit you changed, we wanna see that you care about our experience and we will play it with much more enjoyment.

    - Badges : Fix badges, put some badges out of the game replace with working ones - (yes 'ice in veins' im talking about you and your friends)
    - Take quick draw and intimidator out of the game: There is no reason for quick draw being a badge, you dont learn how to release your jumpshot faster because you played more games, you either have a fast release or a slow one, the only thing you do irl is that you learn when to release not how fast u release it. While Intimidator is basically purely rng and it makes smart plays feel like u fucked up (reverse layup after the center jumps straight on the other side and you still miss ? thats what i mean)
    - Try to make badges actually scale with their level
    - Badges should be 50/50 with overall : I feel like in this 2k you can kill people when you have the right badges even if you're lacking overall and that's bs to be honest. Make it 50/50 and try to keep it that way with patches.

    I'm a dribbling tryhard so please let us keep our combos, no one understands a dribbling god like a dribbling god, we have nothing to do.. steezo has to use his fucking left stick to kill people and it's just boring to watch. If you're not with me on this listen : we have to kill our right stick to get a 2 or if you're good enough a 3. A slasher needs to hold R2/RT + X/square to get the same effect. You don't take the most skillful thing out of the game ... Everything hard is op if you ever played some game you'll notice that the hardest thing which requires a lot of training is actually the strongest. I've been getting bullied by centers holding B/circle or slashers holding X... it sucks man.

    I know this is a really small amount of things that can be changed but please i want you to comment your thoughts and everything you agree or disagree with and why. Tell me your Ideas in comments.
    I think i have some solid ideas and some need a little work but i'm just a player that played a lot of games and sees what this game is missing and what makes others so fun to play.

    I'm not English nor do i speak English as my first language so please consider it before u flame tf out of me. Thanks if you got this far.

    This game for single players is awful. Not only is it impossible to play as a single player in the park, when you do actually meet someone that has just a sliver of basketball iq, they are usually toxic. You have one bad shot and they will never pass to you again, meanwhile they keep putting up 100% contested shots together because they know each other in real life. Same thing in the rec center, legit just a 2v2 with 6 other bodies standing around, unless you go against a full stacked team, in that case, its a 2v5. Playing Vs the AI is boring as fuck, although sometimes I wish I had AI players in mypark to actually have a good time since the AI is better than 90% of the community when it comes to simple things like, for example, defense, finding the open man, not dribble spamming and utilizing 'PASSING' to move the ball around, you know, fundamentals... 2konline is trash too, you're not going to be making any shots unless you green it because they tuned difficulty/sliders and not to mention they made everyone besides like Trae Young and Steph Curry shoot like Shaq. But don't worry any time you select Tier 1 teams you're going to go against glitchy 2k Giannis where he just runs past your whole defense and dunks on them.

    The fact that there isn't a 2konline system but for myplayer makes no sense to me. Have 1v1 matchmaking with your myplayer and their respective teams, and make it so you're player locked to your myplayer, for the single players. Have it so you match against people at the same position so you can't abuse the AI. 2K will still profit off there being a mypark without making the experience dogshit for single players.

    This game will always hold near and dear to me, because of all the good times I have had playing with friends. Truth of the matter is a lot of my friends have grown out of this game and it's impossible to have that same feeling of teamwork in mypark with random people who aren't willing to communicate, unfortunately..

    Before i get the response "just get better, competent people in mypark will want to play with you" yeah I thought so too. Until I was at 50% 3pt shot avging 9 pts 2 assists a game (probably be around 12-13 if I didn't match with randoms 50% of the time who don't pass) and still can only get a game with rookies and pros willing to be on my team. This whole process isn't even instantaneous through a "matchmaking system" nonoonononono, I get to wait 30 minutes for this all to take place, since you know you have to wait and just sit there and just wait for a game. Just an unreal player experience, not in a good way.

    I swear to god that mycareer is rigged. I am playing the heat on pro difficulty in the playoffs and I beat them by 40 the first two games, the game felt like it was on rookie. This third game I am getting greened on almost every shot, my team is playing almost no defense, and if I pass to them they attack the rim and miss. What the hell is up with this? I am trying to get the gym rat badge and this is making this so incredibly unfun. I dont care if they are playing well, but why not just make them play the same all the way through and each game? I seriously just want to throw my controller through the wall.
