    Thread Guidelines (READ THIS FIRST)

    1. High-effort items are more likely to be selected for the final list. Make sure you are clear and easy to understand. For bugs, include instructions to recreate the bug and screenshots/videos. For suggestions/wishes, provide your reasoning.
    2. One item per comment. Don't put an entire list in one comment, that makes it difficult for others to vote.
    3. Specify which category (below) your feedback falls under at the top of your comment.
    4. Categorize your item as a Bug, Suggestion, or Wish. Suggestions are for 2K20, Wishes are for 2K21. Please be realistic.
    5. Items that were selected will be listed in this post and in our archive. Don't submit repeat items, please check the archive first.
    6. Tweets here and here with official support, thanks LD2K :)

I wish 2K would do something about butthurt players in Play Now Online leaving the game on standby while you wait for a million inbound violations.

    Posted: 10 Mar 2020 11:38 PM PDT

I encounter this too much and it's so annoying. It should be like Park where you get booted after a certain time on standby.

Was it worth the ten minutes it took to edit this? Probably not, but I felt a little saucy.

Fixing the orange accessories glitch for our custom home jerseys.

Why are your packs only 5 cards per and 2 are filler Injury cards..shit odds.

Updating the token market so we have a reason to use them.

Make more game modes besides triple threat, and domination..spotlight challenges was a nice start and you're greed got in the way.

The player card set rewards were a nice start as well but the greed got in the way again.

Speaking of rewards, can we start getting rewards that are actually worth playing for? 300MT for 6 six minute quarter game on allstar is nuts..

Also I wish they'd give us something as a token of appreciation like mut Rewards for opening these terrible packs.

Why take away showing players overall ratings being boosted and tier colors being changed.. in the past adding a coach/shoe for example to a diamond he might end changing to a pink diamond with his overall being boosted..

Also if I post something in the auction can I have the ability to cancel it and I should also be able to set a price of card past 100K..

I just want some type of update to this game besides packs, packs, and more packs every week.

I just played a game where the center got up and left his controller for the whole game, but because his analog stick was down he never got kicked.

Aside from that, dudes just be trollin and it kinda frustrating there's nothing you can do about it.

    Thoughts on this build?

    Posted: 10 Mar 2020 10:53 PM PDT

    Steals...

    Posted: 10 Mar 2020 11:33 PM PDT

Am I the only one that's notice the amount of on ball strips? To the point where legit anyone can rip you regardless if they have no steal rating or pick pocket.

I've played 2k20 since the game came out and it's been the last week or 2 where the amount of strips has inflated so badly. I'm a two way sharp so even though I benefit from it. It's still aids how people with 30 steal, min wing arms are ripping people straight left and right on any guard. Even with maxed out unpluckable it's pretty useless.

If anyone remembers how aids 2k19 launch was with steals, 2k20 has easily surpassed it imo. Especially with the ability to have any defensive badge you want and handcraft your defense. Is it really hard to make defense overpowered but realistic?

Defense has been the Meta the last 2 years for all the wrong reasons. And I'm being a hypocrite as I also use a pure lock and a two way. But it shouldn't be that way. In real life defense legit takes IQ and effort, but 2k it's the very opposite and it's just frustrating.

I'm aware I'm bitching on about the same issues that's plagued the game for over 5 years. I just can't be the only one that finds it so annoying how steals and spamming is the most effective way to play. One of the most basic irl tips when it comes to defense is " play D with your feet, not your hands." Just throw that out of the window.

Instantly bad when getting into the NBA.

    Posted: 10 Mar 2020 04:40 PM PDT

So I'm not very good at 2K I'll be the first to admit that, but when I'm starting before the NBA I'm averaging 30+ points a game, yet somehow when I join the NBA it's like my player just decided to quit trying and now I'm lucky if I can get a layup. Does anyone know why this is happening? I should probably stress that I'm doing exactly the same shot wise as I did in college.

Advice how to make your build correctly.

    Posted: 11 Mar 2020 02:04 AM PDT

I see many posts asking about how to make the builds so i will try to share my experience so far.

First thing you need to do when making a new build is to go in main manu/settings and change units from imperial to metric . Trust me on this one.

Next thing when when u go making a new build u sellect position/archetype/physicals pie.

Always calculate what build is going to look like on 99 where u get +4 on skills atributes, and when u get gym rat badge which gives u +4 on physical atributes.

Now u have X amount of skill points to distribute depending of what position u chose. In general guards get the most points.

Amount of points u distribute will determine how much badges u have in every category.

You can only get HOF badges in 1 or 2 categories, depending if u are pure build or two way.

Distributing atribute points is important part.

First u need to see what's the max potential badge points u have in each category, and determine how and what u need out of the build, is it more finishing, shooting ect.

Rule is: Atributes that go up the most are ones that give u more badges

So on guards for finishing most badges u get from close shots, driving layups and driving dunks. On bigs close shots, standing dunks, post hook.

Similar to this is in every category.

You need fo watch to not spend more atribute points then needed, as soon as u see the badge count that u want u stop this usually saves u 2,3 atribute points that u can distribute on other things to pull out more badges.

Important thing if u want to have success with your build is to not make it too short and with minimum wingspan.

My experience is that u dont want short wingspan and minimum weight because you will be beat with blow by's more

Strength and wingspan are important for defense.

Go for more badge points, not for more atributes

If u are not defensive archetype (PG,SG,SF) u need at least 6 badges on defense to not be complete sellout for your team, but u also dont need more than 9, that would mean that u sacrificed too many badge points from other categories.

Always try to find balance in your build to how u want to play it.

Lets say u making pure yellow PG that is called slashing playmaker. U can make something like this in badge count 12-12-28-10, see great balance for little bit of everything, but i personaly went with 11-15-27-9, u see i sacrificed 1 defensive badge and 1 playmaking to get 3 more in shooting. But you can make it however u want u dont need to be fully balanced its your choice.

If u are defensive guard build u can work even with just 16 defense badge points, 18 is a sweet spot, over 20 is just overkill on guard defense. But if u are big 18 is minimum you should have and over 20 is recommended.

For bigs important to know is that level of quick draw will effect your speed of hook and fade shots.

For guards sometimes being bigger is better, for example its better to have 6'5 offensive threat than 6'3. For slashers and defenders 6'5 should be bare minimum (196cm).

Also u dont need to go full speed all the time, anything that gets u over 90 as a guard is just enough, dont sacrifice too much strength for sake of speed.

Best takeovers are imo: Finishing, Defending/Rim protection, Playmaking, Rebounding, Shot creating, Sharp shooting.

Make your build your own, and have fun
