For as slow as my big is it’s quite funny how far I’ll jump on a missed block attempt

I'll jump like 15 feet in the opposite direction. Pretty impressive for a statue.

The 5 stages of buying packs on MyTeam

    Posted: 24 Feb 2020 04:35 AM PST

2K needs to get rid of MOST (if not ALL) badges that already correspond to an existing attribute.

    Posted: 24 Feb 2020 06:17 PM PST

    • Pick Pocket (steal)
    • Volume Shooter (offensive consistency)
    • Handles for Days (ball handling)
    • INTIMIDATOR (on-ball defense)
    • Interceptor (defensive consistency)
    • Difficult Shots (moving shot mid/three)
    • Steady Shooter vs. Deadeye? Is there a real difference??

All that these types of badges do is make already annoying (albeit part of basketball) aspects of the game MORE OVERPOWERED and frustrating.

My build is slightly good, i have a playmaking shot creator with 30 shoot badge, in single season there is no problem, but on the park or rec center i can't even shoot wide open. What do you prefer ?

    Playmaking Glass Cleaner questions/help?

    Posted: 24 Feb 2020 10:59 PM PST

Thinking about building a PlayGlass. Was wondering if anyone could help me out build wise, and possibly answer some questions. Could I go max wingspan? What's the best takeover? If I go min wing when can I speedboost?

Feel free to add in some other tips or thoughts on the build.

Has anyone tried ONLY elite contact dunk animations and NO pro/small contact dunks?

    Posted: 25 Feb 2020 12:56 AM PST

Should i equip every single package or having only elite contact dunk package and not equipping small or pro contact dunks is actually better ?

Passing Up The Passing Game 2K

    Posted: 24 Feb 2020 08:26 PM PST

Passing Up The Passing Game 2K

It's been far too long as the passing mechanics have been absolutely terrible in 2k. With the last few years buffing pass interception spamming, its almost possible to pass the ball unless you're throwing lobs. This is greatly changed the game to the state it's in now, 5 Out offense and 2-3 zone meta.

5 Out passing only has openings via Pick and roll, and or if a defender helps to stop the hop stepping ball handler at the rim. Changing how basketball is played almost forcing people to use the one gameplay style to beat the 2-3

And with the 2-3 zone, people get to exploit the defensive side of the ball because what is suppose to be the weakness of the 2-3 is no longer there with the spamming defenders waiting to jump passes.

2K devs make sure to please all the slashers, all the dribble gods, shooting even has loads of animations, but passing still has the bare minimum....

2K banned me for playing MyCareer??

    Posted: 24 Feb 2020 09:03 AM PST

I was grinding 2K20 for the last 4 days since I bought it on sale off Steam, I've been grinding on 9 minutes, HOF difficulty because I wanted to rush my character to 90-ish overall so I can play park with my friends, I had almost all my badges except for 2 shooting ones, after almost 60 HOURS IN 4 DAYS I finally hit 90 overall and then my game froze after I took a screenshot, so I restarted, and now I'm suddenly banned. Already put a 2K support request in but I don't have much faith in that so I'm really sad/angry now. Anyone else experience this? Any advice or tips on what to do now?

Guide to increase 3 point %

    Posted: 24 Feb 2020 06:34 AM PST

Just figured I would try to help some people put with some shooting tips to improve 3 point percentages

To start, only take smart shots. I know this sounds simple but it's worth noting. Taking only wide open or anything under 20% contested shots will help drastically to increase your make percentage. Contested shots are your biggest enemy and this is the main thing I see with "developing" shooters.

Take half a second before shooting. Never hold x to shoot before you catch the ball, this puts you at the mercy of 2k and its animations. By waiting half a second you can clearly set your feet and get a reliable animation you know.

If you shoot off the dribble, have go to animations before shotting. Have a certain dribble move you shoot off of everytime. This will make it second nature and you will be comfortable with the animation and when to release off of it.

LIMIT FADES. I know they look cool and can be practical sometimes but 99% of the time a standing shot is much more effective and reasonable.

Know your spots where you are comfortable from. As a stretch 4, I am much more comfortable on the hash than the corner. Even though it probably doesnt have much of an effect, get to where you are most comfortable (and preferably have hot zones)

Dont shoot too deep! I've seen players chucking up shots from just over half court in rec and pro am on non shooting builds. Range extender is insane but it doesn't mean you can pull from beyind the hash comfortably every time. Take a step in just to be safe.

Have a good badge set up. This is very subjective to each players but certain badges are just bad. Like slippery off ball and tireless scorer are not needed at all!

Pick a good jumper and know it inside and out. It should almost be muscle memory and you dont even have to think about it. The more you practice the better your timing will be.

Lastly and most importantly, be confident! Dont be afraid to let shoots rip. The more you think and hesitate the more contested shots you will have and the more you will miss time. Play confident and believe in your shot.

Hope this helps someone out there!

95-99 Overall System - Individual Play

    Posted: 24 Feb 2020 10:57 AM PST

Anybody else think that the overall system needs to take individual play into account more than it currently does?

if you lose, no matter how well you played you are going to get a 95.X and take a huge hit to your overall. (if you have lost a game have gotten a 96 or higher please share) i get that winning is the point and that losing should lower that some but it really seems unbalanced to me. when i can win 4 park games in a row, get a 98-99 rating for each and move up maybe .2 then lose 1 game and it's a wash, back to where you started. Lose a game in Rec and you go down at least .3, if not more.

W/L, teammate grade and your stats should be a semi-balance to your overall rating. W/L 45%, stats 35%, teammate grade 20%. if they could calculate in your matchups stats also would be great. Just my thoughts and wondering what everybody else thinks.

    6'7 or 6'8 play glass/post play

    Posted: 24 Feb 2020 10:46 PM PST

Hey guys I have couple of questions regarding play glass/post playmaker : is it dumb to go 6'7 with my pf? I can speedboost off rip but do I got more cons than pros?rebounding or strength wise? If I choose to go 155lbs, badges like backdown punisher or post lock down will work against bigger bigs?
