- PlayNow Online is so underrated. No microtransactions, minimal cheesing, etc. It's probably the most realistic bball you can get online in 2k.

| Playing Off-Ball D should not be considered cheese - you should be able to exploit it Posted: 05 Feb 2021 07:39 AM PST Every once in a while if my opponent is doing nothing but drive straight at the basket, I'll control my center and shade the paint. This sometimes gets opponents offensively angry. I've also seen players who play off ball be berated on this sub. Here's the thing: If you're a decent player, you should be thrilled your opponent is playing off ball. Playing off-ball is a legit strategy in certain situations to help make up for the AI defense's deficiency in double teams and help D. If your opponent does nothing but drive around the defender, sometimes no matter what defensive adjustmnets you make, your big men cant react in time to clog the lane. Its much easier to just control your rim protector yourself. You could also use off ball D if your opponent is constantly running screens for a 3pt shooter like Beal. You may be better avoiding screens and getting into the passing lanes than the AI D which is pretty much programmed to run into the screen. But, if you're a decent player and can adjust your game plan, you should feast on an off ball player. The game gives a stat boost to the defender that is player controlled. And a decent player is better on ball then the AI. If the off ball player is controlling a wing, you should be able to cook the AI defense every time. If the off ball player is controlling a big man, you just need to adjust and feed the big man for easy points. The only way off ball works is if you refuse to adjust, and its really easy to cook the other player a few baskets in a row and make him go back to on ball. So, people shouldn't be bitching about off ball, you should be hoping your opponent does it. [link] [comments] | ||

Since I'm a heavy Park and Association/MyLeague/MyNBA player, I've become very attuned to the different animations and signature styles 2K adds year by year. I have 90% of every release and base memorized (mainly because I do a lot of jumpshot fixes in my spare time). I decided to make this series because 1) I see a ton of misinformation about animations on the internet and 2) Show how 2K animation quality has degraded over time. | NBA 2k21 Latency and Response Time Issues Posted: 05 Feb 2021 05:43 PM PST NBA 2K21 LIMITED EVENT LATENCY AND RESPONSES You know, every weekend I've been busting my butt to ensure I get this Galaxy Opal Westbrook. I don't buy packs so I know I'm not going to get this Kawhi ultimately, so this is my only option if I want any Galaxy Opals on my squad right now. I've played three games so far that I've all had to quit and concede as losses. Why? First and foremost, the responses on my shots were completely off. I play without a meter, unless it's a free throw because we know how janky that system can be, and I shoot pretty well for a player that isn't a try hard. After missing several wide open shots, I decided to turn the meter on. Bruh, these are players I use on a consistent basis. Why are whites damn near in the "middle" showing up as early and everything else late? Why do you have to stand still for a good three seconds to get a perfect release? I don't have time or money to waste on this game. It's a damn shame this is the only basketball title we have to turn to. It's a slap in the face to anyone in this community that has consistently supported them since God know when. Didn't mean to rant but is anybody else experiencing late response times, wired or wireless? Any suggestions? I know I can't be the only guy with this issue [link] [comments] | ||
