    Instructions (PLEASE READ)

    1. Reply with your feedback and upvote comments that you agree with. I will compile a list of the best feedback for 2K. You can see the final list in this post or in our archive when the status says "COMPLETE".
    2. High-effort and easy-to-understand feedback is prioritized. For bug reports, include screenshots/videos and instructions to recreate. For suggestions, provide thoughtful reasoning.
    3. Specify which game mode your feedback is for and categorize it as a bug or suggestion.
    4. To help with readability and voting, put one item per comment instead of an entire list. Please check the archive first to avoid repeating others.

    Example 1:

    Gameplay, Bug

    Players have cheerleader animations while standing around. (Video)

    Example 2:

    MyTEAM, Suggestion

    The difficulty sliders are not consistent across modes. The same difficulty on Domination vs. Challenges vs. TT Offline feels drastically different. A side-effect is that players cannot break even playing TT Offline in terms of MT spent on contracts vs. MT earned from playing.

    Final List (Status: IN PROGRESS)

    General

    • Bug: Backdrop of the "What's New" screen still says NBA 2K20. (Video)
    • Suggestion: Reserved personality badge seems like it was made for Kawhi, but he doesn't have it.

    Art/Likeness

    • Bug: Atlanta Hawks jerseys are updated, but their team colors aren't. Highlighter colors should be taken out. (Picture: Accessories, Shoes)

    Gameplay

    • Bug: Players are not getting shot feedback vibration (both XSX|S and PS5).
    • Suggestion: 5 sec unskippable timeout scene is too much for next-gen (12 secs during the MyCareer story). It takes less time to load a full game now. Seems like there should be a better to incorporate the Gatorade partnership.
    • Suggestion: Holding Y/Triangle no longer makes your teammate cut to the basket for a lead pass. Possible to add this back? MyTeam players liked this to help complete Challenges.

    MyPLAYER (Builds/Badges)

    • Bug: Speed for custom jumpshots is not saving, always reverts to 75%. May just be a visual glitch, can't confirm for certain.
    • Bug: Many players are getting a negative VC cost when upgrading attributes and the purchase always fails. (Video)
    • Suggestion: Allow players to click through the recap menus without waiting for badge points, etc to slowly tally up. Would be a big QoL improvement.

    MyCAREER — NBA Career

    • Bug: As of Thursday night, many players are not receiving badge points and/or VC. (Video)
      • Only affecting MyCareer story and NBA games.
    • Bug: Many players are getting dashboarded after meeting Damian Lillard before the NBA Draft. After it crashes the first time, it becomes a permanent issue and players cannot progress in MyCAREER. (Video)
      • This can't be replicated every time. It's not happening to everyone, but when it does happen it's always after the Damian Lillard scene.
      • Players can still enter the City.
    • Suggestion: Add option to reset the NBA side of MyCareer with updated rosters without making a new save. It would come in handy for this year's late draft and free agency. Also useful after the real-life trade deadline or if the roster is bugged (ex. tendencies).

    MyCAREER — City/Pro-Am/Rec

    • Bug: XSX|S players are reporting noticeable frame rate drops in City games.
      • Doesn't happen in Rookieville.
      • Haven't seen PS5 players talk about this happening.
    • Bug: Legacy issue -- Player stats before Rec games show 0.0 and F grade for every player.

    MyTEAM

    • Suggestion: Let players transfer their uniform assets from current-gen to next-gen.

    New and Improved Gatorade Timeout!

    Good news everyone, your favorite feature in the game, being forced to wait 5 seconds every timeout before you can advance, is back! And now, you get to wait 15 seconds! But wait, there's more, with new and improved next gen technology, players can be forced to sit on a 15 second timeout screen, sponsored by your FAVORITE sports drink, GATORADE, before getting subbed out, only to get stuck on ANOTHER 15 second timeout BEFORE you get subbed back in! Loving the game so far! Gotta hand it to 2k on this one, they really stepped up on next gen!

    edit: full disclosure, i've only played high school and g league games so far on next gen. i doubt it's any different in the nba but if someone can confirm/correct that i'd appreciate it.

    edit: Have been informed via the comments that the timeout delay is back to 5 seconds when you reach the NBA! still pointless but at least it's not 15 seconds for the whole career.

    We need the old MyCAREER back

    I'm usually one to be positive about a lot of things but it seems 2K just doesn't know how to make an enjoyable MyCAREER anymore. Maybe I'm in a small group of people who think this, but I really think the stories get cheesier every year. Every year there's a dumb nickname and the last few stories, it ends at the most important part...THE NBA! Last gen and next gen are basically the same thing. Even if you take the G-League route the result is the same. You and your rival both get drafted 1st and 2nd to the team you chose. Not only is this completely unrealistic but this is so dumb because it doesn't feel like MY career. It's just scripted. You wouldn't lose anything from skipping the story all together. Now I'm not sure yet if there's cutscenes in the NBA portion of next gen but I really wish they would stop doing these cheesy stories and go back to like how it was in 2k14/15. Those were the most enjoyable stories in my opinion. Make our decisions matter and make it feel like our career is unique. Even the simplicity of the 360/PS3 MyCAREER I miss. Rookie Showcase, Interviews, Draft, and Questions after every game. Pretty sure half of the people playing the mode don't care about the cheesy stories that 2K puts all this effort into. Imagine all the time they could spend working on things that need to be fixed rather than wasting time on stories that end when you reach the NBA? I just wish MyCAREER was more enjoyable again and not what sometimes feels like a grind fest to get badges. Anyone else feel the same?

    2K's next-gen face scan plans were impacted by COVID, but they will continue working on more throughout the year. 40 additional scans have been done recently and will be released soon.

    I'm starting to feel like 2K don't respect Rec Players. It's Sad how we've had the same Court for 3-4 Years now. For Current Gen, it's Understandable. But for Next-Gen, why change EVERYTHING but Rec?

    Like...they could've at least gave us a New Court Design, and New Jerseys, or at least let us rock our OWN CLOTHES like back then. I remember back then, they would even give us Christmas Jerseys for Rec, but they don't even do that anymore. Come on 2K...

    zero badge progression after MyCareer games(Xbox Series X)

    I just played two games in a row from start to finish, but 0 progression on overalls, and badges. And 0 VC from NBA salary. Is this happening to anyone else?

    Update at 6pm EST Nov 12, it appears that even the practice facility drills also give zero progression.
