    I like to play myleague with a custom player instead of mycareer I give my player a 77 3 pointer so he shoots 36-38% which I want. I'd simulate a season and players like Luka and Dame are shooting 48% from three. The next season i'd give luka a 70 3 pointer (since he shot 31% this season) and dame a 78-79 since he shot 39% this season. They still shot 45% I even tried to lower the 3 point tendency. Curry doesn't even shoot 44% in myleague he's shooting 38-40% and klay's is always around his irl always around 41-44%. I also tried simulation sliders by lowering there 3 point percentage I lowered the slider to 38 and they still shot 45-48%. How could I fix this?

    I'm making this for everyone who has some weird but seemingly fun build just sitting in the builder. Sorry for the length

    made a post here the other day about making a 6'9 SG (no pro dribble moves)that'd run the Point in park. Everyone gave honest feedback and said it'd be too slow on both sides of the ball, and the 6'7 PF build would be way better.

    I almost didn't make the build because i was almost convinced it'd suck. Made it anyway, had some vc to blow. The build is so much fun, and faster than expected. You can iso without pro dribble moves with patience and deception, and it's so satisfying. The defense is borderline elite with next to no badges. I have an 86 3 ball and am shooting lights out with a couple of badges. Badge spread is 21/15/12/20 and it will surely break the park at 99.

    Make something new and against the meta y'all. It's so satisfying to win with the odds against you.

    Wouldn't be fun to create your unique dunks, just like we do it with the jump shot creator? I was thinking this would be a good idea to add some customization to MyPlayer (2k11 slang my bad hahaha).

    Idk how it would work out exactly, but maybe you could mix some dunks just like the jump shot creator and you would have access to the dunk animations from the dunk packages that are available to your dunk rating.

    Just an idea I wanted to share, lmk what you think!

    Tyceno’s courts are BRUTAL.

    Just saw the new custom courts for beast of the east… They are brutal. Pixelated as hell, they totally get in the way of the yellow three-point line, and if you are colorblind, they make your eyes hurt after only a game or two. Why on earth would they do this to a basketball court? Is Tyceno, like, 13?

    Every time I think the game can't get worse, they find a way...

    Shot Stick Aiming should be the future

    I really think Shot stick aim only and not relying on timing is the best idea for 2K. It opens up so much more fun. Obviously, it's very difficult at first, but when you consider the benefits I feel like it is such an easy choice (with or with out the boost).

    First, Latency. Shot timing can be so inconsistent when you add in all the facts that are 2K in general. Pro-Am is slower than park, Park has high latency cause of all the other plays there, mycareer is the base. When all this stuff factor in unless you're like a one-mode player its so hard to lock down your jump shots timing to a key for most players. Timing basically erases this cause all you need to do is worry about getting the aim right, no need to worry about anything timing related or interest dependant. And this goes beyond just mycareer. The game is now just more simplier for jump shooting as a whole cause now you can use anyone in the game and just worry about aiming.

    Then there's the benefit of individuality. With aim only, we dont ALL need to use the same jumpers anymore. Now people can use the jumpers they actually visually like. We don't have to just watch the same jumpshot videos to see what works cause all that matters is aiming the shot stick. Not when we release the ball.

    You Can Keep Hendrixx Cobb on your team!

    I may be in the minority here but I like having Cobb on my squad. The two man team gives me Orange Juice vibes. So if you sim up to the trade deadline (right before), the team will be unable to find a trade partner. Cobb stays and they don't try and move him anymore even next season. I'm in the playoffs in my 2nd season and we're putting the Knicks on the map!

    Next gen REC is slow and borderline unplayable

    Can someone tell me why the gameplay is so slow in the Rec on next gen? It's not choppy like the city, it's just that everyone is moving in slow motion.

    The latency is significantly worse than current gen too. I still play the PS4 version and it's night and day how much faster that is.

    I can't speak for the city, but my 90 speed feels more like 60 in the rec. And before anyone asks, I use wired Ethernet getting about 500 mbps.

    I keep seeing this in the community in posts and in comments where people are asking for changes to be made or complaining about a certain feature when they haven't even experienced it themselves. It's annoying reading a bunch of these posts and comments trying to address an issue that some kid heard a youtuber say. I'm not saying you can't talk about the game but please stop trying to act like you all are experts if you haven't even played it how are you going to complain already and suggest fixes.

    Shooting differences and what should I choose, mates?

    Hey fellow 2k adepts, i was wondering what are y'all preferences for the shooting part of the game

    Like, do you use the stick, if yes why

    Same for square and x shooters

    Is there a BIG difference, I heard stick shooting is suppose to give you an edge while mastered, but the delay the game has online makes it hard to master it

    • 3 on 3 where one team has all the superstars

    • rebound drills for a guard

    • fast break drills and your teammate never goes towards the basket

    • contact drill when i have a low dunk rating

    This player builder for next gen is amazing, but there are so many intricacies to it. Looking for like-minded 2K players to build a spreadsheet with.
