I hate when the coach thinks they can catch up after one point lmao

    Posted: 30 Jul 2020 05:50 PM PDT

Hopped on with randoms and a squad of elites kept dancing instead of playing defense or boxing out. It cost them the game.

Stop calling for the ball when the AI goes up for a shot

    Posted: 30 Jul 2020 03:21 PM PDT

This is one of the most aggravating things to do in the Rec. An AI Player goes up for an open shot and out of nowhere randomly throws in the direction of a teammate leading to a turnover, because your teammate wants to spam call for the ball. There's three things that happens when an AI goes up for a shot. He'll make it, miss it, or attempt a pass in midair. The AI is more likely to make the shot than accurately throw you the ball from that position. If the AI misses, you can make a play for an offensive rebound and reset. If you force the AI to pass from midair, 99% of the time it will end up in a turnover. Two of the three have a chance at a positive result. There's only one that almost all the time has a negative outcome. Quit being selfish and trying to call for the ball when the AI goes up for a shot.

Thank you for attending my TED Talk.

    Is this build good?

Quickdraw should be removed in 2k21.

    Posted: 30 Jul 2020 10:10 PM PDT

The badge is a waste of badge points I could be using those valuable badge points on catch and shoot or deadeye. Without quickdraw 99% of the time your going to get blocked because of how slow your jumpshot is. I think that 2k should bring back the opportunity to control the speed of your jumpshot like very slow, slow, normal, fast, and very fast. I think everybody would love that.

So is every team I get traded to going to immediately turn to shit? Why do players become so bad when you’re on their team?

Is it common for park players to play like they have absolutely no clue how to play basketball?

    Posted: 31 Jul 2020 01:26 AM PDT

I'm new to 2K pvp so it's not like I'd win a lot anyways, but I'm getting absolutely blown out every single game and it's 100% because of these randoms I keep getting linked up with.

None of them pass the ball, they take non-stop contested shots, can't play defense, and they're all in love with the 3-pointer.

I've played 6 games in a row, every game with a new random, and we haven't scored more than 4.

Just started plating 2K20 since it was free. Unpopular opinion but, aside from online, it's honestly more enjoyable to play than 2K19.

    Posted: 30 Jul 2020 06:59 PM PDT

The shot meter is WAAAAY better, I hit greens constantly whereas on 2K19 it's very difficult to time it correctly (especially for free throws, vs. 2K20 where I'm shooting almost 90% from the line), your CPU teammates' defensive awareness is better, there are finally offensive settings in the pause menu and a transition setting to stop your teammates from dropping into the paint everytime, blocking physics are way better as well, the CPU defense in myleague/mycareer is not as sticky or uncharacteristically good (i.e., Steph Curry in 2K19 shouldn't be stopping Giannis from driving to the basket), and blow-bys to the basket are reasonanly easier to accomplish.

I don't see much positive praise for the many improvements that 2K20 has made. But it's quite easy to forget the good when online is completely broken and gambling is an integral feature of a basketball game.
