I see at least three of these every time I play rec with four randoms. It can be so toxic.

Overhaul on Pro Am, Rec, and Park

    Posted: 11 Jul 2020 06:22 PM PDT

This is a semi long post but I've been paying attention to this subreddit since the launch of 2k20 about the Rec, Pro Am, and neighborhood. I believe a simple fix for the modes go like this.

PRO AM- It's need a major overhaul because it hasn't really been touched since introducing in 2k16. They need to fix matchmaking and give more of an incentive for teams to continue to play. Whether it's more choices for arenas, warmups, and seasonal tournaments of the top 20 teams. By doing this it'll quite possibly keep the competitive five man teams from going into the Rec and leaving it for the more casual players.

The Rec- I feel the rec needs to go back to the 2k17 walk on arena the others courts and games serve no purpose. Also I feel a regular rotation of jersey changes would be a nice added touch. There also needs to be a better matchmaking and grading system for players so we can get a better idea of who were teaming up with before the fame starts because stats don't always tell the whole story.

The Neighborhood- In my honest opinion I really don't see a point of the neighborhood I feel we can just go back to having parks, affiliations, rival days, house rules, and bring back some of the events just have them revised. I personally don't believe matchmaking should be an option because people will eventually complain once they get matched up against competition. Plus I feel if we do away with record checking and improving the 3v3 Pro Am mode it'll relieve the park of the super sweaty comp teams who look for easy wins.

All in all I feel to balance things out they need to incentivize the 5v5 and 3v3 Pro Am better so the Rec and Parks will be a lot more suited for casuals.
