    This is a daily thread for MyTEAM with hundreds, if not thousands, of comments every day and is the best place to ask questions pertaining to your cards or lineup. In addition, this thread is used for general discussion, price checks, and pull showoffs.

    How do I ask for lineup suggestions?

    Display your lineup using a site like 2KMTC or take an in-game screenshot and upload it to Imgur.

    Along with the link to your lineup, include your platform (ex. XB1 or PS4), MT available to spend, and questions you have. The more information you include, the easier it is for others to help you.

    Tournament Details

    AGE: 18+ only

    PLATFORMS: XB1/PS4, one bracket per console, 32 max per bracket

    TIME: 4 PM ET on May 9, 2020, completed in one day

    MODE: MyTEAM (Play with Friends)

    SETTINGS:

    • Superstar difficulty, 5 minute quarters
    • Host wears white jerseys, opponent must contrast
    • No custom courts

    TEAMS:

    • Points System (15 points max for entire team): Galaxy Opal = 6, Pink Diamond = 5, Diamond = 3, Amethyst = 2, Ruby = 1, Other = 0
      • Evolutions are counted based on current tier
      • Dynamic Duos are counted based on base tier
      • Free Agents are counted based on the rating tier they fall in
    • Only one player from 'Glitched' or 'Out of Position' collection (including rewards) is allowed

    PRIZE:

    • $150 to champions, $50 to runner-ups
    • Larry O'Brien trophy in user flair for champions

    Bracket and Checking In

    The bracket will be randomly generated and players will be notified of their matchup.

    IMPORTANT: Please read through the *Walkthrough* on the page where you sign up for information on checking in! This is a one day event so check in times are more strict. Failure to check in and be ready to play results in an automatic forfeit.

    Reporting Scores and Disputes

    After each match, both players report the score to the site; if discrepancies occur, players will need to provide photo or video evidence. GamerSaloon will decide who wins based on the evidence provided. Full tournament rules can be found on the page where you sign up.

    Stream Promotion

    If you'd like to stream your match and share it to Reddit, we will make exceptions to our Promotion Guidelines as long as you let us know in modmail beforehand.

    2k20 is by far the most fun I have had playing a sports game, or any game for a very long time.

    I never have been a gigantic fan of basketball, the NBA or NCAA, but after watching "The Last Dance" I decided to pick up 2k20 at Walmart since it was on sale for about 20 bucks. I've played 2k12 years ago and that was the last basketball game I've played and the only other sports game I play to compare it to would be the Madden series.

    This game is so much freaking fun. And I've only played myCareer as of now, but I have been staying up late, up until 4 am last night playing and I don't think I've enjoyed a sports game like this for a very very long time.

    The amount of depth the game has so far blows me away. The entire college playing, team workouts, summer league, team practices, endorsements, contract negotiations, the role playing options, interviewing, the game presentation, the controls and gameplay, hell I was even blown away by being able to just "shoot around" for a bit before the start of the game to warm up.

    Everything about this game has been an absolute blast and so cool. It honestly pisses me off that these guys aren't making NFL simulation games anymore and really highlights just how horrible EA is creating games.

    Because of playing 2K I'm now interested in watching basketball next season after the everything opens back up.

    I hope 2K will make a NFL simulation game in the near future

    Historic Spotlight Sim - Extensive Recap (Full Team Lineups & Ranked Difficulty)

    So just finished the Eastern, so figured I'd let you know who the absolute horrors are in there in a team-by-team breakdown

    From Most Difficult to Easiest. Every team was assigned a difficulty from 1 to 10 and then multiplied by the same multiplier in the game (i.e. .75 for Rookie to 1.75 for HOF)

    Some of these guys have diamonds (2019 76ers have 2 in Boban and Shake) and even pinks (RJ for the 2016 Cavs, Walton for the 86 Celtics) on their bench but nothing to really worry about.
