My first quadruple double on 2k20

    Posted: 22 Mar 2020 12:35 PM PDT

I get it now. It’s time for me to start spamming hop steps. That is what the 2k Gods requires of me.

im convinved, most people dont want to win in the park. they want to be carried to wins.

    Posted: 23 Mar 2020 01:29 AM PDT

since i been home from this pandemic, i been playing 2k like 85% of my time , the park moreso . and i finally realized something. people dont want to win game. they want to be Carried to the wins. as big of a deal people make on win % i realized that a majority of people just get carried to their wins and they know this cause they only look to play with people who appears good and or against people who look like shit.

if there an opening on the court for them to be a leader and carry people to a win or to play people who look moderately good, they wont take it.

you see this play out alot as a big. everyone wants you to carry them but when they shoot 4-15 and get cooked by their guy they are quick to blame you for the loss . like be real you only picked me up to be your "bail out machine"

Why do you need to have an internet connection to play the nba in my career?

    Posted: 23 Mar 2020 12:39 AM PDT

Just put up a godly stat line but my WiFi shut off and I got kicked out. Hopefully the game saved it for me because it had the saving icon but it prolly won't.

Why does my player miss so much

    Posted: 23 Mar 2020 02:54 AM PDT

I have a 93 overall sharpshooting facilitator with all my shooting badges and I have my 3pt shooting to the max, but yet I consistently miss wide open shots. What's the issue?

This 2K is one of the more broken games I've played in a while

    Posted: 22 Mar 2020 03:50 PM PDT

Downloaded this game due to game pass having it for free. Was suprised to see that online is a terrible experience half the time due to disconnects, input lag that feels like you're a second or two behind every movement and shot you try to take. Created a pro-am team and can't even invite friends as the invites never show for them.

An actual skilled based matchmaking would be good so that 60 ovr players don't get stuck in lobbies full of badged up 90+ players, but I know that feature is just to promote players to buy VC..

That being said it's kind of ridiculous that there's crazy input lag in all online modes for the most popular basketball game on the market.. Not sure how everyone has just accepted that and recommends to "practice in the pro-am gym to get used to the delay"

I'm crying in the club rn

    Posted: 22 Mar 2020 10:47 PM PDT

Months into 2k and this is the first ankle breaker I’ve seen.

    Posted: 22 Mar 2020 09:47 PM PDT

This game has become far worse than 2k18 and it’s not even close

    Posted: 22 Mar 2020 11:13 PM PDT

Everyone hated 18 because of the blowbys. But they weren't nearly as bad as 20 blowbys. In 18 you could easily make contact, you'd just get dragged with the ballhandler and posterized if you didn't attempt to block the shot.

This year they slide right past you. HOF clamps cannot stay in front of a slashing playmaker. Even if you do get lucky enough to make contact—it doesn't matter. And I say lucky enough because you are so ungodly slow on defense compared to the ball handler. Again, I don't care what your build is or what badges you have, you move like a statue from left to right on defense.

Aside from the blowbys being worse, we have a neighborhood that encompasses so much, you're lucky to see 20 people actually playing at once.

In 18 we could make our own shirts and get them free. Now we have to buy all the tops, some upwards of 25-35k VC. But thank god we got our free haircuts, right?

The game is nothing but an interceptor fest at higher levels (seriously it's ridiculous watching players sit in passing lanes smashing square when the ball hasn't even been passed yet) stamina on offense is more than triple defense if you have handles for days and the physics, especially in terms of butt and leg steals are straight laughable.

I do not understand why we can't get a patch for some of this. Or at least someone from 2k to actually engage the community. Mike Wang has gone silent since patch 9, and in my opinion 10 was the worst thing to happen to the game this year as that seemed to be a huge buffing point for said blowbys.

The 2k team should be ashamed for how much money they make vs how transparent they are about their goals and progress around the game. Everyone gives Ronnie shit but if it weren't for him and his team capitalizing on social media and celebrities this game wouldn't have a following at all. It's that bad of a game considering it's 2020.

Live has a huge opportunity to overtake the market and they realize it which is why they're all hands in for next gen. I 100% promise you that if 2k continues this shit for another year they will be overtaken.
