Having A Player's Win% Public is the Most Toxic Element of 2K

    Posted: 12 Feb 2020 03:44 PM PST

Rant that everyone's heard already ad nauseam:

If you've ever tried to play Rec by yourself, you know what happens when you're matched up with 4 randoms. Majority of the time, the team dissolves by half and people begin quitting. This will tarnish a person's win% through no fault of their own.

If that Win% isn't 70% or higher, might as well make a new build/gamertag because no one will want to play with you.

As a bonus rant: Those people who have high win% because they cruise off the backs of the real ballers STINK

Quick word to park randoms who are actually pretty good.

    Posted: 12 Feb 2020 07:44 PM PST

PLEASE NEVER STOP PLAYING. You dont realize how much of a blessing you are to people who play by them selfs , nothing feels more satisfying then streaking it up with a random who plays good defense, doesn't go mardy when they dont recieve the ball and knows how to shoot. Seriously thanks to all of you out there.

    2K releasing unrealistic player cards

    Posted: 12 Feb 2020 03:30 PM PST

Yao Ming, in his whole career, shot a whopping 10 three-pointers and made an even more whopping 2. Somehow the Pink Diamond Yao they released has a 76 three-point rating. How? How is shooting 2-10 in your whole career equal to a 76 three-point shooting rating? 2K plays this "what if" game. Well Yao was a decent mid-range shooter so what if he would've made more three pointers if he shot more? Yao wasn't a good three-point shooter. He went 2-10. Stop releasing player cards that are unrealistic. Yao Ming was unstoppable inside and was a pretty damn good mid-range shooter. He was not a three-point shooter. Now there's a 7'6" Center in MyTeam that's dominant inside, mid-range, defensively, and from 3 that never even existed

Let’s play a game- what are somethings that randoms do that tells you they ACTUALLY have IQ?

    Posted: 12 Feb 2020 01:33 PM PST

I'll start, when a random sets off ball screens is a big indicator they might have some sense.

Need a new jumpshot with HOF quickdraw, any recommendations?

    Posted: 12 Feb 2020 08:20 PM PST

Have been using Dwyane Wade for a while now and it boosted my 3pt% by 8-10%. But the past couple of days I've been struggling to green shots so I think it's time for a change. Any recommendations?

Also is it true that jump shots vary depending on height? I have two guards, a 6'2" and a 6'5"

    Greens vs. white releases.

    Posted: 12 Feb 2020 09:13 PM PST

I played today with two friends and we balled but, during all our games every team we went against made contested white bars... is it just me or are whites the new green. I can't tell you how many times people drill white or early or late releases it's insane. Then when I try to knock down an open middy I brick a full white -_- with 75 mid range and having a dimer dish it to me, doesn't happen a lot but enough to bother me lol. 😂

2K20 MyTeam Triple Threat Vault Open Rate

    Posted: 13 Feb 2020 12:17 AM PST

So over the last few months i have collected data about the triple threat vault. The vault opens somewhere around 37% of the time.

    https://imgur.com/xxNdnz8

    https://imgur.com/69FOwpX

This data has been collected through a base of 134 attempts. In total it has not opened 86 times. It has opened a total of 49 times however. This adds out to a percentage open rate of 37% percent.

When it comes to what you might get when it does open, i do have information there aswell. I got 1 Token 31 times, which makes it a 63% chance to get 1 Token. I got 10 Tokens 2 times which makes it a 4% percent chance to get. I got a diamond consumable a whopping 1 time, which makes it a 2% percent chance. I got the base MT amount (1,500 or 2,500) 15 times, which makes it a 31% percent chance to get.

    https://imgur.com/WFdMJHI

    In Conclusion:

Considering the relatively small chance of opening the vault, it is dissapointing that the majority of the time you will get 1 Token. Considering i have opened it 134 times i would have to double that to be able to buy one single diamond reward player.

    THANK YOU!

    playing 2k all star game

    Posted: 12 Feb 2020 04:57 PM PST

who else thinks 2k should remove the teammate grade during the all star game and make the fans and vc x2 to make the experience more realistic, by removing the teammate grade, we can play freely just like real life.
