| Spent 2 Months Making 09/10 Roster on Switch Posted: 22 Jan 2021 01:33 AM PST I spent 2 full months crafting every team's roster from 09/10, creating every player, adjusting their age, salary, and rating based on 2k10. Back then ratings were pretty different, so I rounded everybody's ratings up on a curve. Go search for "nba2k10" or my username "vince" to find it. Feel free to make any adjustments you think might make it better, just please send me a message or reply to this post so I can update it to be as accurate as possible. I've also made full draft classes from 2010-2020 with accurate ratings and potential. Search for the year, or search for either "vince" or my alt account "xtra" to find them all. | It’s impossible to play rec with AI players Posted: 21 Jan 2021 05:01 PM PST This needs serious work if they're going to continue to have AI players join rec teams. Right now they only make layups, take contested 3s, and always leave their man open on 3. If you're matched up against one you're at a huge advantage because you can afford to double a user instead of guarding the AI. You can't even play zone defense with an AI which many people like to do. Just had one let their man hit 7 3's in a game which would make me think they would start to step up and adapt during the game but continued to give them space [link] [comments] | ||
| Defense in this game isnt even Defense... is just trying to stop broken gameplay mechanics Posted: 21 Jan 2021 09:50 PM PST like minus trying to stay infront of someone, this game defense doesnt feel like basketball Defense. it just sounds like a live action drill of how to stop every cheese under the sun. played for the longest time in a while today, and i swear to god. alot of the things that had to be stopped were things you wouldnt have to deal with in a actual game, OR is just fucking broken / chance base. as mentioned before the only defense in this game are,
idk man. can we get a game where the offense is on the same level as defense? and cut down on these badges carrying people. bring back the BBALL IQ being more important than who can expliot ____________________ mechanic here. this game is crazy man.... [link] [comments] | ||

I get it's not real life basketball and not the best simulation, but if you have 2 guys guarding you pass the rock it's really not that hard. I lose every rec game by 15+ because I have a teammate or two that are 3/12 from the field. It ruins the game and makes everything not fun. The same thing happens in the park. [link] [comments] | ||

| Posted: 21 Jan 2021 09:28 PM PST Tired of dotting the AI in the corner, only to watch him clang it off the rim? Tired of your best shooters going 3/15 regularly? Try this... When you pass your AI teammate the ball, press your shot button with the timing of the AI player. Essentially, you're taking the shot but the key is using the proper base timing for that player. This works best on catch and shoot situations, but it can also be useful if your AI teammate is in triple threat and the defender a playing off. If you know that players base timing, just shoot it. I feel like theres a little leeway in the timing. (Disclaimer: The AI will ignor the imput sometimes, just like when you're spamming the pass button to get the ball). Give it a shot. Most streamers speak out against it, and even on Twitch and whatnot, it's just dead. Theres no wager scene unlike last years and I see a lot of people on PS4 2k. Adins deleted the game, and Tyceno doesn't stream it (arguably two biggest creators) I don't have the game and I'm simply just asking. Posted: 21 Jan 2021 06:57 PM PST I'm a 7' Center getting killed because I'm constantly matched up against 6'8 3-Level Scorers who might as well be a 6'5 Playshot. These "Centers" can't post up, rebound or defend close shots well when playing against a traditional big but all they need to do is spam Curry slide for 3s to win. [link] [comments] | ||

Posted: 21 Jan 2021 06:54 PM PST My squad was accused of delaying someone (we would never do something like that) and the guy says he's gonna get us banned cuz he never lagged or was delayed before and when he played us it happened.
