- I used to pride myself on defense, but I can’t guard a lawn chair on next gen. Gold clamps, high strength, and I’m still a matador.
- Anyone else sometimes make graphics for their MyLeagues/MyNBAs to get more immersed into the sim? I just did this real quick and I thought it looked pretty decent for a phone edit
- Doesn’t matter how hard you try, if you only have 2 people and the other team Is full it’s an L, good shit to my teammate tho

The game feels like my controller input is being put through some sort of filter where the game decides if it's reactive to what I want it to do or not. It almost feels like they're trying to make 2K more of a basketball sim, but they're sacrificing user ability in the process. 2K15 felt significantly smoother and more responsive than this. Makes no sense and that would be a blocking foul in real life. Watched my PG in the Rec get ripped like 5 times just walking up the court by some dude running into him on purpose. It's stupid as hell honestly. It would make more sense if you're running into someone while dribbling, not walking up the court while some dude runs into your hand on purpose. [link] [comments] | ||

I would say just get blinders to the highest you can get it and shoot fades on every opportunity you can if you don't have enough time to stop and pop. I have noticed that I have created more open looks just by learning the fade animations on both sides. [link] [comments] | ||

It's not even so much having to fix the AI's bad rotations, but player mobility and movement in general. When will 2k implement something other than this "ice-skating" DDR mini game where you have a 50/50 chance of just running past your man while staring him down on the perimeter? Or big men allowing handoffs in the paint and getting dunked on with their BACKS to their matchup? I think a general speed increase for defensive players would help with on-ball for a hotfix, but in general, especially when you factor in latency, defense is kinda trash right now. | Posted: 13 Dec 2020 10:15 AM PST when im guarding ben simmons (who cant hit a 3pt for his life) i would obviously leave him open from 3 but stop him from driving in ( just like they do in real life) but every time so i do that it says left assignment. i understand that you should always play defence but like cmon its BEN SIMMONS im not gonna guard him from 3 if he doesn't even have a 3pt tendency. i say if your assignment has below a 65 3pt then you shouldn't be penalty for leaving him open since i think that's the move to guard him anyway.
