    Last night I was trying to grind my new 95ovr guard, and I was absolutely disgusted with my Rec experience. I personally have over 300 games of rec played with a 60% win rate solo queuing, but since Xmas holidays started, it's been such a joke.

    Sweaty SS2's in 5 stacks coming in, playing zone, running 5 out + PnR speedboost cheese, spamming passing lanes, trapping ball handlers in as they pass halfcourt, momentum limitless 3's. You name it, these guys like to cheese it. I had 7 games in a row playing against 5 stacks like this, whilst I am playing with a squad that consists of 3xSG's and 2xPF's who have never played together before. It totally kills the game mode and a lot of other guys I know that solo queue have stopped played because of it. So many times we lose 1 or 2 teammates to rage quits or grade outs.

    Rec needs to be exclusive to solo queue - squads of 3. If you want to 5 stack with your 99ovr friends, go play ProAm.

    Zone defenses + lightning reflexes + interceptor is just impossible for casual players to counter. The sliders for intercepts and spamming ball handlers also needs to be fixed. There's no reason teams should be averaging 15+ steals in a 20min game with only 1 or 2 defensive builds. Lobs are much the same, with non-playmaking big men able to throw halfcourt lobs in transition and guards finishing them through traffic.

    I would say out of 300 games on a PF and a SG I play a majority out of position at the 3 or 5. 2K needs to keep us locked to our primary and secondary positions, or at least give us data on who's queuing so those of us that have a 2nd or 3rd build in a position of need can go grab it.

    People are probably gonna tell me about how imposing these changes won't work because the player base for rec isn't big enough... I say that's bullshit because if the game mode was of better quality more people would play. However if they can't place some decent rules in place to make it more balanced and fair for players, they should drop the game mode entirely as the 5 stacks will go to Pro Am and the casuals would improve the park.

    World of Warcraft (battlegrounds) and NBA2K (Rec Center) face exactly the same issues (pre-made groups vs. randoms)

    Not sure what the cross section of 2K and WoW players is (I'm one), but it's funny that a lack of proper matchmaking in both is currently ruining the gameplay experience.

    Wow Classic has the same issue of "sweaty" premade groups intentionally grouping up against randoms for easy victories in battlegrounds to grind rep/items, same as Pro Am teams hitting Rec Center to farm randoms.

    It's funny how two of the biggest gaming companies in the world can't get basic quality of life matchmaking implemented... And really shows up much 2K have copied the MMORPG model.

    Need some advice as a beginning player on 2K20 and myteam.

    This might be an odd post but I'm actually an avid fifa ultimate team player, however I always loved basketball games (and basketball) and I have been looking the past couple of years at basketball games who would have a similar setup as fifa ultimate team. It was always a bit difficult since there are 2 games, nba live and nba2k but since nba live 20 was cancelled this made this decision a lot easier.

    Now I do have some questions before I go ahead and buy the game

    1. Is the grinding rewarded, like I don't mind to spend money but if everything is after a paywall I'm inclined to not play it.
    2. how is the content, are there daily/weekly objectives, special players.
    3. Is there a pack system and card system, like where you can open packs and receive players in cards.
    4. are there other valuables in the game besides players, like contracts, managers, consumables
    5. Is there a transfer market where you can buy and sell players.
    6. Are better players really better players, I mean do you feel the difference if you play with a top players vs a low rated player
    7. last but not least are there legends in the game, and then I'm talking about jordan, bird, barkley, allen, pippen, o' neal.

    On a 10 game win streak and in the middle of the game this happens, been stuck at this for 10 min, so crazy �� the opponent won’t pass the ball in and keeps walking back and forth
